Definitely inferno grenades.

Biower should buff them.

Again.

Do you really think they need a buff? They seem fine to me.

Arc Grenades are trash, they definitely need some love before Inferno grenades.

Biower doesn't know how to make a good grenade.

cluster grenades - I can't play a drell and that's probably a contributing factor, and the last time I did I was newbish and didn't realise they could be used as a detonator

sticky grenades - where they go when thrown does not at all match where you think they'll go. I'm legally blind in one eye, I have no depth perception, meaning the 2D of a game is the same as the rest of my waking world, my ability to place thrown stuff in a game is scarey, but I cannot use a sticky...at all...it messes with meh

good idea.  I been trying to figure out a good build for soloing gold and platinum.  cloak + stickies + patience = win

Biower, pls buff Inferno, Arc and Cluster Grenades. They do not deal enough damage. Would be nice if they'd be any close to the glorious Sticky grenade, or if they could hit targets as fast and be as accurate as Homing nades.

Homing grenades are good. I only use them against bosses so they work like a charm to me
Cluster greneades are awesome, just don't use them at long range
Multifrag grenades? the most amazing grenades imo. What could be better than throw a bunch of grenades on the floor when you are surrounded by marauders and kill them all? I just don't like the sound, it's like all of my dishes had fallen on the floor.

inferno grenades are awesome!  I got many a killstreak with them on silver and bronze.  On gold and platinum, it weakens armor and I can hit a whole group spawning because of its large radius.  It also does damage over time.  I like to think of it on gold and platinum as painting the enemies in fire instead of expecting instant death.

Homing for the Turian Engineer are bad. Long cast time, long trave time, and have a tendacy WTF?MISS??!! more often then not - makes no sense with a god damn HOMING GRENADE. I never saw them as bad on the demolisher though.

Lol, lots of trolling on this thread. On a serious note, homing grenades are the worst. Closely followed by frag nades.

Homing Grenades.

Frag grenades are really bad too, but at least they can be a valuable crowd control tool/swarmer killer/detonator.

Love everything about sticky grenades, except that you hit your target maybe half the time. They have a weird projectile/travel path.

I would say Stickies, but they apply ammo effects. Lift Grenades have a big radius and kill the **** out of a lot of stuff (occasionally lift enemies too). Cluster Grenades are awesome, because they hit a bunch of stuff and, if use from close-range, just hit one thing really hard. Inferno Grenades are badass as hell. Multifrags are just insane. Arc grenades might be kinda meh, but on the QMI, they wreck spawns immediately.

It's down to either Homing Grenades or Frag Grenades. Homing grenades do more damage, but with a decent team, stuff is often dead by the time they hit, so I'll go with those.

Sticky Grenades for me too. If you don't stick 'em, you most likely won't hit squat. If you improve their AoE and make 'em a proximity trap, what the heck are you using Sticky Grenades for? We have a power that does that already, it's called Proximity Mine.

Plain ol' Frag Grenades take my second place. They're just so... plain.

I find it funny that the two grenades I chose are also the two primary grenades of the Halo games. Heh...

Lord Sirian how many phantom nades do you chuck per game?

OT - None of the grenades are bad though people tend to give Sticky, Frag and Homing Nades some doubts, possibly because of their inability to multi-detonate or prime. Lift Grenades would be up their too if they were on more than one class (a class moreso used a melee build even).

Sticky grenades.

There are effective ways to use them...it's just not easy, and there are usually better options. That said, I think I'm going to try a sticky grenade centered Human Infiltrator, now that I have extra grenade capacity gear, and see how it works out.

Probably horribly, but such are the sacrifices I make to sate my curiousity...

Homing nades are very good. Priming FEs and debuffing armor is always going to be valuable. Frags or stickies are definitely the worst.

Stickies, but they're still good. I'd actually like to see them used on another character other than the FQI. Should have put them the Drell Infiltrator in stead of homing.

Although Homing Grenades do excellent damage against bosses and other armored foes, I find them to be lackluster to the other grenades. The long animation to the target can lead to other problems.

Unlike most people, I really like Sticky Grenades. I use the Prox. trap evolution and use them as land mines. Works well against Dragoons and Geth Hunters.

The Asari Vanguard frowns at you

I probably didn't throw more than a handful of them, and a long time ago, but I remember Cluster Grenades to be simply too random to be of any use. Actually I think they actively avoided ennemies <_<

Some people seems to like them tough, I'm gonna give them another try on the Vorcha I guess.

I clearly remember that evo being completely bugged, I tried it a month or so ago and it simply wouldn't explode when launched in the middle of a group. Was it fixed ?

They are lag sensitive and require a good connection. I host most of the time or join a friend's lobby with a good connection so it is not a problem for me. If you are PUGGing off-host there is a good chance they will not detonate.

All the grenades are pretty good, it's just that some of them are completely god-tier and make the rest look a bit bland in comparison. Stickies don't get a lot of use and I often do spec out of them, but it is true that they can do massive damage.

Multi fail grenades.
Turd range and underwhelming damage.
