Liara had tech powers and trees in ME1 if I recall correctly.

Sorry the havoc soldier is a darn vanguard.
And you like Bioware seem to have fallen into the trap of assuming a Vanguard must have charge or it's not a Vanguard. By the old definition Vanguards needed a mix of Biotics and Combat abilities, charge was not required to be one of those.
Get the fact Charge has to be on the Vanguard out of your head. Any bitiocs that would boost the Combat abilities of class would be good. At the least Barrier, Adrenaline Rush, and maybe Shockwave (if it worked reliably) could also be a Vanguard. At minimum you could swap Concusive Shot with Throw on a Human Soilder and you have a Vanguard.
The Havoc is an in your face CQC weapon or melee specialist. In a tactical sense he's a break-and-clear guy. The first fellow through the doorway to draw fire, create confusion, and engaged the highest threat's attention.

Soldiers and Sentinels: Tank and damage
Adepts and Engineers: Debuff and Crowd Control
Vanguards and Infiltrators: Damage from range or close up

She had 1 tech ability which was Electronics. Which was just a shield increase and vehicle repair for the Mako xD

I really like that idea and it woul be great for ME4.UWxMaserati wrote...
I would like it if everyone was broken down into original unite classes. Like N7 would be its own class and features a variety of N7 units creating a diverse squad. I would like it if they made units for each species forces and released DLC's of a group of the species creating a variety of diversity in the unit.
Maybe instead of races, it could be by organization? Alliance, CSEC, Blue Suns, Eclipse, etc.

All asari are biotics. But they do have sniper units. So a sniper should have any biotics if that character is an asari? Biotics are required for their miltiary service.CmnDwnWrkn wrote...
This is the first sentence of the description of the Sentinel class for ME3:
"Sentinels are unique, bringing both tech and biotic abilities to the battlefield."
The key word there is "unique." Meaning they're the only ones who can do this. Once you start combining Tech and Biotic on an Infiltrator, for example, there is no longer anything unique about Sentinels. You really begin running the risk of obsoleting the Sentinel class altogether.

If by "works" you mean you're better off pretending it isn't there, then yeah, it works.

Exactly. Really any organization or group would be its own class. I feel it would also make the expansions much more clean compared to now where some of the characters seem vague, random, and forced just to have one in each of the current classes. They could sit down and be like let's work on the Eclipse class... so we have Asari, Salarians, and Humans... they are known for cutting edge tech and extensive biotic use... they prefer to be stealthy and have numerous vanguards in the group... they also work with FENRIS and LOKI mechs which maybe can be brought in like Cereberus Engineer turrets. They could sit down and look at what they have to work with and create 4-6 characters that fit the lore and work together well as a unit.
I would love that personally. You could end up with like 4 Salarian Engineers per say but all 4 could be very different based on them being associated with different units specializing in different tactics.

We've gotten so many new characters since the game was released, for free, and because they didn't completely overhaul a core game mechanic like the six class selections (which would not be a free dlc, nor possible without rebuilding the entire MP platform) people find a reason to ****?
It's nearly a year post-release, and look at all of us still playing this game like a fiend stuck to a pipe. We're still getting new content, FREE content, which you can choose to play or not. We who still play daily, are the ones who are influencing, shaping and molding the way in which the next, newly envisioned Mass Effect game, built around an amazing engine[Frostbite] will be made.
tldr; play more, **** less. constructive critique, crash reports, feedback and creative thinking will make us[including the devs] all happier when the next game is here and blowing our minds in terms of how in-depth the multiplayer part will be.
bye.

Well, specifically through an absolutely appalling lack of Salarians, now that you mention it.

I think it's basically that PC players a Lord-Kings, and Console players are peasants. Class warfare ensues. Good times.

Sniper rifles are combat. Biotic + Combat = Vanguard.
"BAAAW, IT'S NOT CHARGE-" yeah, take that notion and shove it.
