After a way too long development, I'm ready to release my mod. The release date is fixed to next weekend.
As it is a bilingual mod (german/english), what is the best way to release it? Put it in the normal module section, with the risk that german players will overlook it? Or put it in the international modules section, with the risk that english players overlook it?
Additionally, is it worth to release it also on Neverwinter Nexus, or is nwvault still the place where everybody is looking for new mods?
Best way to release bilingual mod?

Post it everywhere?

Posting it on Neverwinter Nexus and nwvault seems okay to me, but as it is an upload of several 100 MB, posting it twice in nwvault seems a little bit of overkill to me.

Maybe you can upload it just once, but post an entry on each section with the same download link?
Anyway, as far as the Vault goes, and if I had to choose, I think I'd post it on the English section. I suppose more people would find it that way. Perhaps I'm an exception, but I'm not a native English speaker and I don't really look much at the International Modules section.
I'd definitely post it on both the Nexus and the Vault. The Nexus needs some love and some people prefer it rather than the Vault.

just release it as an english module with both the tlk-files on the vault and the nexus. after unzipping everybody can decide which tlk-file should be installed.
imo most of the german players are browsing the english modules anyway. additionally you could also write an email to pcgames and gamestar to promote your mod in their magazine.

I would put it in the English section, you won't have a choice on the Nexus.
Germany is a very bilingual nation anyway and, as -Semper-, says there appears to be very few German mods to tap into so most persons are going to look for new work anywhere they find it.
Best of luck with the release and congratulations on completeing your project.

Thanks for all the replies. Following your advises, I will release it in the Nexus and in the english section of the Vault.

You could post the actual mod in the English section, and then create a separate page on the international section with links that point back to the files on the English language side (just like you could link to someone else's hak file). That way, you get your download numbers added together. Plus, your int'l module description gets to be in good Deutsch, and German speakers can talk to each other in the comment thread.

What Lugaid said. That's what I meant in my previous post, but he explained it better.

That's the way.
I had the same problem for my French/English modules. So from the mistakes I made :
- prevent voting on the int'l page (otw votes would be splitted)
- do not put any files on the int'l page, even a simple presentation.
