It is cheating, and I lose all respect for any player who uses it. It just tells me the player isn't skilled enough to hack it at whatever difficulty we are playing on, and instead of taking the time to to get valuable experience and improve, they've decided to exploit a glitch to stay out of harm's way and leave the hard work to their teammates.

Jebuz...stop repeating urself like an old record player...we know ur stance. Do u know what a question mark is for? Your post asked a question but u seem to be just using this thread to make urself look high and mighty. Btw I just said I didn't think it was never ban worthy. But that was enough for you to open your trap and start spewing rubbish.

Change the title of your post in form of a statement instead of a question form cuz you are just gonna **** on ppl who don agree with u. once again I only said I don't think it's ban worthy

You sound mad...Probably because you outed yourself as someone who did something bannable.

No sir just mad at ppl who open discussions to make themselves look good. Why ask a question if u are just gonna scrutinize ppl. Banning is up to BW. I admit I tried their map exploit...they can judge just how many many points I got of it. And if it is bannable...i didn't think so

My team mates appreciated their guardian angel...i felt like Archangel...shooting enemies before they killed my team mates...and like I said I came down for all missions and raise fallen comrades

I don't like the players that use that glitch they generally play 1 or 2 difficulties to high for their skilllevel. Which will show if they are even bothered to help with objectives.
Normally i just leave when i see it happen, let them have their 1 hour games for gold lol.

I know à few dirtbags who get up there during extraction waves.

I think it would be hilarious to get up there with à Huntress and solo Platinum by Dark Channeling everything.

I think I know those dirtbags

They should just make that area actually "Part of the map." Make it so enemeis can go up there, and remove the ability to jump into the water for insta-cross map teleportation.

Solved.

It's definitely lame and a good reason to get kicked after the game is done.
I wouldn't know why someone would use that anyway. It's just stupid and shows that the player doesn't know jack about this game, having to use these kind of cheap "tactics".

The glitch can stop u getting shot for a while but sooner or later the player will need to come down to do objectives otherwise they fail. They'd also need ammo replenishments

Or better yet, remap the area to both fix the stupid exploit, and provide more tactical depth to Hydra itself without actually getting rid of the fact that it's a dam.

Is there any official word from Bioware on this?

Personally I don't believe it's in the spirit of the game but it does require Bioware to fix it. However, if you are going to do it, do it in a private lobby and at least make it worth while!

**To be fair the guy did do objectives and wasn't up there all the time.**

If it isn't bannable, it should be. I always take note of the GT's whenever I see this, leave the game, and report them. I treat it the same as missile glitching.

They could just stick an invisible box on the path up. Touching it causes you to die/bleed out instantly.

Or they could just put a few crates around the area and make the jump impossible to do.

When that map first came out a guy showed everyone in the lobby how to do it so everyone went up there in a silver game. The view is really cool up there. We still had to come down for the objectives so it was fun.

Now, if I play that map and people go up there I just leave the game. Because usually those suckers don't come down for objective waves ( they play demolishers ), and those of us who don't go up there get stuck with all the enemies.

I don't think its bannable, but I would never do it unless I was playing with friends for grins.

I don't know why people do that. Every time someone on my team has done that they've been useless. Idk how, but some guy even died up there before.

Got a source for that?  I've never seen a post on here.
If it is bannable then I'll probably start warning about it.

Called u mother Teresa cuz like the o.p. You seem to just lecture and preach despite the post asking ppl of their opinion. And the 2ppl line was me actually agreeing that it's gotten lame not saying I got peer pressured dawg! Think and read b4 posting pleade

I like the feeling of merit that goes with a game won. I like it in contrast to the perspective of having a game lost because me and/or my squad didn't do enough. That's what makes the game fun for me.

Knowing that there is an illegitimate safety net spoils me from that mechanic. Hence, i'll have played a game where i won't have had any fun. If people stop doing it, i'll have more fun.
It has nothing to do with being a goody two shoes, i egoistically want my fun. If i can ensure that mechanic stays, of course i'm going to act in kind.

I'd say it's cheap but would be pretty disappointed in Bioware if they ban over this. If they feel it's an unfair advantage (for who I don't know since this game is !!!!CO-OP!!!!) then it should be fixed. Punishing the players because you can't take care of bugs in your game seems a little pointless, especially in a non-competitive game.
