Actually it the Harrier only outclasses the Valkyrie in DPS and refire-rate. The former is a consequence of the latter since the RoF of the Valkyrie is 600 vs. the Harriers 550.
Another notable way that the Valkyrie outclasses the Harrier is per bullet damage.
Otherwise both guns are very comparative in terms of stats

I wouldn't and I don't use either, no matter their level. If I was forced at gunpoint (heh) I'd use the Harrier. I'd rather take the Valkyrie as an enema than use it.

I have a Harrier VI or something but rarely use it because its boring, and i hate hunting for ammo every thirty seconds. Its also a Cerberus weapon and i like to use weapons that make sense for the race I'm using. I'm not using humans again until they're included in the challenges or i unlock them all first. I like to RP my MP chars.

I love the Valkyrie on my original Turians though. Its more fun going for headshots, rather than spraying and killing and hunting ammo. Its only a II as well.

No it's not.

The mattock is, or the saber if you're good with headshots.

Mattock is for those with magical fingers and/or auto-click macros.

Saber is a POS that fires every two years. I will never use it over my Valkyrie II.

Having less dps with exaclty the same weight is a horrible thing. Having less dps with less weight would be acceptable instead (collector smg for example).
It does not aoe damage, and the bullet damage is laughable since not even husks can die from a single headshot.
Techically valkyrie has no advantages over the harrier, the refire time also prevents to abuse from powers like marksman or devastator mode/hunter mode, while the harrier, even with its ammo problems can.
In a word: garbage.

My point was that the only thing that really makes the Harrier better is the fact that it's a fully automatic weapon. 

That's not to say that the Valkyrie really has much of niche, because overall it doesn't bring much to the table to make it stand out.

Also, another big lie: valkyrie has not more ammo than the harrier, in fact, it has less ammo since it fires two shots burst, lasts longer only because of the refire time.
That means you can empty one harrier's clip in 2.18 seconds, a valkyrie clip in 2.8 seconds.

This. Not just because I can't stand burst fire weapons, but also because the Harrier doesn't become that inaccurate when hipfired. The Valkyrie doesn't hit anything without zooming in.

The Valkyrie is nothing special especially since it has a minimum refire time. If they get rid of that horrible thing, or lower it, it'd actually be able to reach high DPS. As it is right now, it's worse than every UR assault rifles. I'd even take the Revenant before using the Valkyrie.

While I despise the saber, I could never think of it that way when I saw Jay use it the other day.  

It was scary. Even Stentron was terrified.

Well then let me say the Saber is as good as the Locust. It's good on the GI/TSoldier/Jay_Hoxtatron but not much else.

I'd use the Valkyrie if I had one, for me the biggest downfall of the Harrier is being married to the ammo box.

We were all using QMS with sabers, basically the same equipment (we were gonna attempt a speed run). The team was me, Feneckus, Jay and Stentron. It was Cerb/Hydra. (We set the map/enemy so the exp for the game was low).

You all had Marksman. The Saber needs Marksman/Hunter Mode because:

(1) Its DPS is not very high. But in order to reach that no-very-high DPS, I need to fire it continuously.

(2) Without a ROF boosting powers (or Tactical Cloak), if I fire this gun continuously (say, more than 2 shots at a time), I get shot and die. 

Perhaps you strafe in and out of cover between every shot of the Saber while still maintaining max ROF. That's just too much APM for me.

If you have a Harrier X, there's little reason to use any other weapon. It's undoubtedly the best weapon in the game.

Maxed out the manifest months ago, Harrier rarely get's used.

Everyone is happy they got a Harrier, but i just do not use it that much at all.

My main weapons are the M-77 Paladin for all classes.

Soldiers, i go with a Krogan and just pick up a claymore and melee reapers back to dark space.

When i do use a Turian vanilla, i abuse the M-76, gain his accuracy and stability (and ROF) with the M-76 is far better than running around, looking for ammo.
