The mattock is, or the saber if you're good with headshots.

Mattock is for those with magical fingers and/or auto-click macros.

Saber is a POS that fires every two years. I will never use it over my Valkyrie II.

The Saber is just mocking me with its 8 shots per clip which I'm never able to empty without needing to go back to cover. Whoever designed the Saber needs to DIAF.

Congratulations on using weaker weapons? I use others as well, doesn't mean the Harrier isn't the most powerful. Take your irrelevant LTP comment and beat it.

Level for level you don't think the Harrier is the best weapon in the game? Personally I don't use it much either because it's easy mode. Outside of the PR, I can't think of another weapon that instantly makes any class godlike. Javelin is this, but you can't put it on everything. Claymore? Sure. No weapon matches the range and damage it can put out from what I can see.

I don't have a video capturing card, but I have it at X and use it juuuuusssttttt fine and none of my Marksmen kits utilize it.

I have a Valkyrie 1 and i would pick it over my Harrier 3 any time, i can't stand that guns non existent ammo capacity.
Not that i use either of those very often, but still.
Also lol at the Saber hate, it's an amazing gun, especially fun on the human soldier as with adrush you never have to reload(still not as funny as pressing down the trigger on GPSMG at the start of the wave 1 and letting it go after extraction.

If I had a Valkryrie X, hell yes I would.

I don't enjoy being tethered to an ammo crate all match, and 856 DPS is good enough.

The stats suggest the Valkyrie will be an excellent, well balanced weapon at level X. The only thing wrong with it is that it's a promotional weapon and no one has it at level X. If it was a Rare, the gun would be perfect.

I have a Harrier X and it's so damn good that I've yet to even fire a single shot with my Valkyrie III.

Saber trades boss killing ability for exceptional mook killing potential. That's why I always pair it with Hurricane or Piranha if I don't have Marksman. I wouldn't complain if they increased the base rate of fire though.

Also on-topic yes the Valkyrie sucks. I suspect Bioware believes it is balanced because of the high ammo capacity. Unfortunately with ammo boxes everywhere high ammo capacity is never worth trading for dps.

I like my Valkyrie I much more than my Harrier IV. I don't care if it's less efficient. I can play with it on Gold and I'm happy.

It completely depends on the character, my build, and how I play them.

I only have a Harrier 2 after ages and ages of playing the multiplayer, and the only character I use it on is my Demolisher. And it is perfect on her. In-fact, with my Hurricane 7 (recent) and setups in her powers over health, she is setup very much perfectly for me. Mobile, hard hitting. Great at a distance but still deadly up close.

When I use the Harrier on other characters, they do decent damage, but I spend far too much time running for ammo over killing the enemy. And it completely kills my caster builds powers.

I'm not sure at the moment if I have a Valkryie or not, but if I do, I would find the character it fits best and work with it.

Much like how I found my Argus 10 works best for my Turian Saboteur. With a stability mod of course.

I have a Harrier X, and I use it all the time. I like automatic Assault Rifles. I dislike burst-fire ARs.
