*snickers* Same thing I said to Twist, applies to you too

I notice you still have not giving a serious reply to any post that does not agree with your own views yet.

So you're either trying to troll, and doing it wrong. Or you're trying to dodge humiliation through humour.

Sooo did not get my mail...did ya? Or gone to the group yet?

I got your mail. I don't care about your motivations, or the spamming about teagan in the first thread. The only thing us "fanboys" hate more than a delay, is a hypocrite complaning.

I never realized how terrible the DA:O community was.

The last game I was playing regularly was League of Legends, and I was fairly certain that it safely held the worst gaming community on the internet with its overabundance of teenaged DotA players.

The last 48 have thrown all that into contention. Even BioWare's own official responses are rude, childish, and filled with vitriol. This is the first time I have seen a community's generic pathetic complaints about delayed patches actually break the professionalism of the PR workers right down to the points of 'you act like children, we'll treat you like children'. It's pathetic on both sides that the insigating fools were not promptly banned (not to mention the idiot spammers talking about cake and cookies - spam is no less worthless and harmful than stupidity fueled by self-entitlement).

Seriously disappointing show from BioWare and from the community. I'll be staying off these forums in the future, I think you'd likely find more maturity and professionalism on Dora the Explora forums

this is pointless im quite sure that bioware employers watching this thread right now and laughing with their popcorns.

The points are not going to magically disappear now that they have been bought. When RtO is released they will be sitting there ready to be used. If not having the $5 back is a big deal to some of you maybe you should wait until there is an actual item to buy or perhaps take up a hobby that doesnt cost any money.

Ya, we should all take up bird watching. All you need for that is a window. But i bet if no birds showed up, everyone would come here and demand to return their windows.Image IPB

it means that you have sat in this thread demanding answers to something you don't even have. you expect bioware to cave in to what you want because it suits you. maybe, just maybe, they're all working to try and fix it and don't have time at the moment to hop on a forum and address your concerns within your specifications. that's what i mean.

Careful, your ignorance is showing.

I hadn't even seen this thread until a few minutes before I posted, so I haven't been "sitting in this thread". A mod said they found something odd and didn't understand it, I explained it from my point of view. I didn't demand anything, most certainly not that Bioware cave in to my demands. Claiming I did shows your lack of reading comprehension and eagerness to jump all over someone for not thinking exactly as you do.

While I'm sure a life of just accepting things and never questioning is delightful for some, I prefer my ability to think and question and I will continue to do so whether you like it or not. Ever notice how some people are referred to as the greatest thinker of their time? Notice how there's not a single person ever referred to as the greatest follower? Thinking = good. I know I used some really big words in my first post that you may have misinterpreted as demands, but I'd suggest you go read it again and notice the complete lack of a single one. Questions? Yes. Demands? No.

Now, if you're quite done trying to berate me for things I didn't actually do this thread can move forward. I'd imagine it will do quite well without you constantly berating people. You like being kept in the dark? Fine, wonderful. But I have to wonder why you're even here if that's the case.

Dahelia. I understand everything you've said but there's something to take into account.
Your business functions in an entirely different way than Bioware's business. You work on your customers schedule. The customer tells you when the wedding is and *you* agree to provide your service in a timely manner. Essentially you really have no control over the delivery date aside from not agreeing to help the customer at all because you're already booked.
Bioware on the other hand, does not work on our schedule. We don't decide when they will make something available, they make that decision.
To this end, it is always the prerogative of the schedule-setter to change the schedule. If a Bride called you the night before the wedding and said "I'm sorry something came up and the wedding had to be rescheduled for next month." How would you react?
It's obvious you're very good at your job so it seems likely that you would not demand more details on why the wedding had been postponed.

As for the idea that not giving details about a delay would get someone fired in any industry, I can assure you that you are absolutely incorrect. I used to be in charge of pre-orders at a chain book/music/movie store (just the one store... not the company lol).  I promise you, I swear on every comic book I own, that publishers don't give out details 80% of the time. We were lucky if we even got a warning before the street date. Sergei Lukyanenko's Last Watch got pushed back 7 times (almost a year and a half later than the first announced release date) and we never, ever, got a warning or a reason.

Again, I understand your point but it's not changing anything. Just be patient and Bioware will let us know what's up as soon as they can.

I personally think the world should be mine to command, but those plans are already underway.  From BioWare, I will settle for an explanation for the delay for now.

I can see why the previous threads were shut down. There was a lot of whining and not much useful information at all. In my opinion, there's nothing to do but wait. I'm willing to wager most of us have the points needed for the download (I know I do), and then it'll just be a matter of time until the DLC is released. Better to wait for a polished product than demand a buggy one on time, I say. It's like asking a college professor for an extension on a twenty-page analysis of Vladimir Nabokov's postmodern novel, "Pale Fire." So ease off. Complaining about the delay won't make it come out any faster. I, for one, am going to start another playthrough while I wait.

I agree there is no need for sterotyping people here. The forum should be for discussing points of view and sharing info not name calling, passing virtual cake around and so on. I would hate to see this thread get closed down because of battling ego's and inappropriate sarcasm when it is the only one left for sharing info on this topic that I know of. Lets just all get along and discuss in a civalized manner.:)

Depends on if she was crying...or sounded angry...I would ask...it takes weeks to even months to create a wedding cake....you do realize this? But no, I would not be angry if they cancelled or delayed on me, but they would be pissed at me if I did, it is the different..I'm the company, they are the customer.

Exactly, so the roles are in reverse here. Do you understand now?

Customer is allowed to delay, the company, is not. Do you understand now? Or will I have to explain more for you?

Granted l came late to this interesting thread....but really???!!!!!

A company is not allowed to be late...since when?
History is built on the foundations of missed timelines.

As to the OP, unless some link to some offical timeline/post/date is linked, then this is just obvious trolling.
