Can everyone else shut up now please? You have your "answer". Was it worth it?
It wasn't really an answer it was a comment. PR statements to explain things rarely give you answers.

That is not an answer...just a copy and paste of what was said before...with nothing new really added.
Well, considering it came from the Community Facilitator, that's probably the best you're gonna get. I doubt any programmer from BioWare is going to jump on here and give you an answer you'll find satisfactory (which appears to be a combination of a tearful repentance, cunnilingus/fellatio, and seppuku).
But if you want to keep crying about it, please, by all means, continue. Hopefully you'll get permabanned and then go step into traffic.

What are you talking about? His post eliminates the console politics option and puts it straight into something that's going on with the DLC itself. In other words, the DLC itself was lacking in some manner, whether due to a bug, a design flaw, or something else. Now we at least know that the game was delayed to having to be altered on some level rather than it being an already-completed packaging gathering dust while people argue over when it should be released.

One of the things I've been wondering from the get go, is whether or not the DLC was actually going to be worth anything (with or without bugs). That trailer was like 50% to 75% of the Ostagar battle from the main game. Maybe somebody ultimately decided that RtO sucked and should be worked over.

I'd be at least one of those people. I think the bottom line is that the release wasn't up to the quality we want to give our players. If we had, well, we'd have just as many posts about that. So, the lesser of two bad things (neither choice would have been quite up to "evil" standards) was to delay.

confirmed from who?give me a link of a bioware stuff that saying that the dlc has been delayed because of a bug
The closest thing to admitting there is a bug is in this thread. social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/9/index/541856&lf=8Chris priestly wrote...
We found a last minute issue and had to delay Return to Ostagar to
make sure we deliver the highest quality experience to you, our fans.
he said issue not bug, those 2 has minor difference
No it's not a minor issue, it is a major issue and in my HO it has to do with sony. Sony has screwed up things before and are still doing it. Just remember their cd-rom players in the past (blocking people from playing their ligit cd's because of anti-piracy concerns) or now their blu-ray. I get the same resolution from an up-converted regular dvd as I would get from a blu-ray dvd but have to pay 25% or more for it. That is totally wrong!! Now xbox360 and pc owners have to wait because (imho) of sony?????
just my 2 cents

Ahh, well there you go. Knew there had to be someone.
Back to the point, not being up to standards is understandable. What I, and many others, don't understand though is how it wasn't realized until hours before release day this time. I understand things happen sometimes, but this is the second time it's happened with one allegedly 1-hour long DLC. There were many valid questions asked in the locked thread that were never answered, including ones that weren't asking what caused the delay or when it will be released. I even went to the trouble to go through pages of posts, round them all up into two posts and send the links to those posts to Chris to save him from having to look through 200+ pages. Partly to make sure they were seen, and partly because I'm sure he has neither the time nor the inclination to wade through the silliness to find a few questions. Whether or not he's had time to look over the questions, I don't know, but will we be getting any questions answered at all in the foreseeable future?
Note: The above was written in a pitch-fork free zone.
i think you're running out of options. victor narrowed things down more. we know it's a game quality issue. whether that be a bug or general gameplay, does that matter? i don't think you'll get a clearer answer from any other software company, so i doubt you will from bioware either.Dahelia wrote...

That answer was clear enough. Just because you yourself want to know the EXACT details over what is going on does not mean everyone else does; they specified that there was a flaw within the dlc that could potentially lower the fun factor of the content, and that's what we really needed to know.
You're now not complaining about Bioware not giving enough information, but rather that they're not giving every minute detail (read: needlessly specific) and that's just unfair to the developers. If you want to ask them that then go pm them or something, but stop going around and making it sound like they're jerks who haven't even given a tiny sliver of explanation when they now have.

JENNA M'lady and/or dude? Your posts from yesterday when we were in the Ostagar Thread were used on another site, lol. I saw 'em this morning. Anyway back to on topic.
I like that we got a statement no matter how vague some may think it was, at least one was made. Now I underdstand the hunger for knowledge especially when it's entertainment wise, but we'll get what we get. When they're ready to devuldge more we'll know, just hopefully it's not too late and we lose interest alltogether.

Sorry that I want to know as a customer who paid for 3 games....*shrugs* Oh well, I guess I have to deal with it and people who would rather scream at me because I want answers...sad.
