A valid opinion, I just find it hard to believe that they have no one working for Bioware who isn't a developer. Every business has someone who handles the customers, even if that person is also responsible for doing many other things as well. It's that persons job to handle things like updates.

I'd be at least one of those people. I think the bottom line is that the release wasn't up to the quality we want to give our players. If we had, well, we'd have just as many posts about that. So, the lesser of two bad things (neither choice would have been quite up to "evil" standards) was to delay.

I have to agree with Victor but I think the main thing everyone is upset about was no real reason was given why there was a delay. :)

Simultaneous releases fail, if it means one platform has to wait for the other.

We have to wait for our "slower" friends.

This is what I mean, they're not cackling madmen hatching their next plan to keep us out of the loop. They really don't owe us any answers as to what went wrong, just that something did. I want an ETA too, but they can't pull ANOTHER date out of their ass, clearly.

When there is an ETA, we'll get it. As for the rest, you're just **** out of luck, they're not going to explain it to anyone who doesn't need to know for the sake of doing their job correctly. Obviously they know more than we do, but they're employees, they do as they're told, and if they've been told not to release some info, they won't

You can call us immature all you'd like, we know that limitations exist.

Well, people shouldn't be **** out of luck...it is rude and not really good PR practice....and people who sit here and jump down someone's throat for wanting the answers and not what they feel they should tell...aren't making it any better.

If you want answers, we know, we do too. But you were saying that you are somehow entitled to the answers. Answers that may not even exist. They will tell us what we need to know, its not the end of the world. I think they're smart enough to know that were unhappy about being left in the dark, but wanting answers doesn't mean there are any.

How could they not know what this.."quality of game" problem is?? But really....not only am I entitled, you are as well.

Thats a very general term. It honestly doesn't matter, if it was enough for them to pull the plug at the last minute its clearly enough for me to wait a bit longer. Even if you did know, it would change nothing.

The only thing telling us would do is stir up more trouble for them. Ive seen it happen every time.

Hey Dahelia,
Do you want the Chantry version or the Truth version? heh
I hope EA doesn't send Aaron into this forum with the answers... you know, their rep who was sent into Planet MEMW to give answers BfME with the community there... epic fail...

Ciao Andrea!

What about PC Game Italy? Any news from them? Man, I did hope those guys had some inside information... you know... one they got with "an offer EA couldn't refuse" and all...

I haven't seen anything today. I guess that, like BioWare, they have - sadly - nothing to say.

Thats why I said a rough ETA. I'm sure they have a rough idea of whether its going to take a few hours or a few weeks.

I can understand how you missed the explanation (it's stuck somehwere in the 220+ pages of the closed Delay topic) but one of the bioware people explained that they do not want to burn their customers more by announcing even a rough ETA and failing to come through, and instead will announce it when they're 100 percent sure it's done.

Nah, I saw that explanation, i was pretty active in that 220+ page topic. I'm just saying, with a rough ETA, you wouldnt be giving a specific date, just your best guess, so it couldnt really backfire on you.

they tried that when they said "holiday season" originally. do you know how many people screamed at them for not making that deadline? vague guesses are just as bad in these parts.

Should the description for Cailan's Armor have,".....appears to have been crushed by an ogre" in it and if so would that count as Good News?

Would knowing the minute reason(s) about why it was delayed make it better for some here to accept the fact of it being so, even though knowing the exact reason(s) are in no way going to change the fact that it is delayed?

On-topic, I think the OP should not lead us into speculation...

Now a chant to Bioware

O Bioware, hear my cry:

Seat me by Your side in death

Make me one within Your glory

And let the world once more see Your favor

For You are the fire at the heart of the world

And comfort is only Yours to give

Can we change the forum title to NO SPOILERS ALLOWED to NO SPOILED ALLOWED? :P If it takes a bit longer to make a better product, then by all means take that time. I am concerned and a bit upset that it was pulled back at the last minute like it was this last time, but the constant level of contempt for them as a company (in spite of them making good enough games for you to join forums and plug dozens of hours into at the least) shown so often by many on the forums is rather disheartening.

I doubt an ogre would be able to dent a dragonbone(Hoping it's dragonbone armor & not silverite). It looked more like Cailan was snaped at the spine cord instantly paralysing or killing him.

Are you going to help them fix it? I doubt it, so why do you feel entitled to probe them for specifics as if you intend to somehow analyze their response and then decide that there's nothing you can do but wait for them to fix it? Do you doubt that there's a problem and want to prove them wrong somehow? I'm confused as to why you think they'd explain themselves and wait for a customer analysis to say that's it's okay to have this problem...that it somehow is justified by a customer who knows squat about it instead of say....their own professional techies?

Mostly I question your motives, I feel no compellation to be dissatisfied with a vague answer, because I know they're working on fixing it and not just lying out of their teeth...they WANT you to buy their product but it needs work. That comes first.

You must have some reason for wanting so vehemently to bring this problem to light, but if you can't help fix it and don't believe they are lying...what's the point in you knowing more than they have let anyone else know? You've also stated your parents couldn't do that cause they'd be jobless, do you want some sort of retribution against them? Do you want someone to be fired? You probably bought your points early....the damned things will still be there! You've lost nothing you haven't already intended to lose!

Let it go, life is full of disappointments. Have you ever been late to work or school and been interrogated until they have a detailed account as to why that is? I haven't, most people could give a crap less but you seem to want that interrogation moment a little too much. Leave them be already!

Who said it was Dragonbone armor? I always thought his armor just looked like golden ceremonial armor, not really meant for battle.

That actually has happened to me lol...in the end I got that cheesed off i told em what they could do if they didnt like my explanation (i was stretching the truth a little I'll admit)....so they did indeed relieve me of my duties hahaha.....
