Have you ever been late to work or school and been interrogated until they have a detailed account as to why that is? I haven't, most people could give a crap less but you seem to want that interrogation moment a little too much. Leave them be already!

I have. Every single time I was late I had to give a full detailed explanation of why. Then again, my school seemed to be obsessed with being on time moreso than any other school I'd ever been to.

And if the ogre snapped his spine while wearing heavy armour, then i think we can pretty much agree the armour is now useless.

Should the description for Cailan's Armor have,".....appears to have been crushed by an ogre" in it and if so would that count as Good News?

I doubt an ogre would be able to dent a dragonbone(Hoping it's dragonbone armor & not silverite). It looked more like Cailan was snaped at the spine cord instantly paralysing or killing him.

Who said it was Dragonbone armor? I always thought his armor just looked like golden ceremonial armor, not really meant for battle.

What at frontline? There is no ceremonial massive armor (not to date anyway) Surely the king would be able to afford dragonbone. King Arthur vs Sir Lancelot, If the King's equipment wasn't superior, the duke would have made a meal of him each time. The Excalibur!!!

I can see the logic in that, its just that it looked that way in the screenshot.

Well not exactly, I mean he could have snapped the spine at the neck, leaving the armor itself in perfect condition.

Yknow, except for the fact that its had a body rotting inside of it for some time now.

Nope, the armour is heavy, even an ogre can't take the weight.

Let me splane Luci!!! I love DA:O and tell my friends about it but I also tell them that RTO has been delated 3x! The only thing people hear is the negative stuff which is that it was delayed. They each have 2 friends, which those 2 each have 2 friends and so on and so on. Before you know it hundreds of people are mad about this and decide not to even buy DA:O. The Telephone Effect as it is called can really hurt in the long run, that is why we as the DA:O community need an Official Response.

P.S.

And Dahelia I love ya, you actually get it! here is to hoping we see something soon...

I'm wondering... they never really say how long you were alseep in Flemeth's cabin after Ostagar, and later when you talk to Wynne (for a mage), she'll say you've been gone from the tower for nearly a year. Did it just take that long to travel to Ostagar or were you unconcious for an extended period of time?

I could scoop up the rotting ogre body, well except for the feet, the last time I heard before Duncan's demise is it is good for the winter cold, hence OGRE BOOTS.

That actually has happened to me lol...in the end I got that cheesed off i told em what they could do if they didnt like my explanation (i was stretching the truth a little I'll admit)....so they did indeed relieve me of my duties hahaha.....

Eh well I work in the construction biz so I've never met anyone who gives a crap, they just want yer body there and working. They're too smart to wait for me to make something up, and just tell me not to let it happen again. I could explain it I suppose but it's like talking to a wall...a wall that's not interested in excuses. Posted Image

Wouldn't it be hard to clean a wound if someone was wearing armor?

ERIC MENTIONED CAKE :)

And going to chip in AND be on topic (wow your stunned arnt you? cmon, I knpow your out there, I can hear you typing)...

The response was so generic my cat could have come up with that. All kudos to the dev, I like him, seems a stand up guy, but that response wasvery scripted. it was simple, to the point, and told us nothing.

Bit like a government, and we all know how corrupt they are. There would be no harm at all in them saying, look guys, dont look good, might be a few weeks. We would all shut up then. If it came out before then, they would be gods in the gamers eyes, if not, we had a 'it might take a few weeks'...so no one would really blink....

Yeah we got an answer, and it was about as informative as a dead informer.

you know it's not true that everyone would shut up. if they say a few weeks, there will be a whole other group in a whole other thread screaming about how horrible bioware is for delaying for a few weeks. then, come end of january, they'll start saying, "a few weeks is up and where is the dlc?" it will be like last month leading up to christmas all over again. we all want to know. it's just that some of us realize the problems that too much info can cause and are willing to wait for the proper time.

Also: for human nobles, how does Dog survive Ostagar? He was with you in the tower, and Morrigan said Flemeth saved you and Alistair by grabbing you with her talons in the form of a giant bird. Last I checked, birds only have two feet with which to grab.

Did she have some way of getting Dog out of there too?  If so, why'd she even bother? if she can carry more than two people, why with other origins does she not grab the mage or the guard who come to the tower with you?

Dog: Big plot hole in Dragon age, or the biggest plot hole in Dragon Age?:o

Here's a good chant for them!

"The one who repents, who has faith unshaken by the darkness of the world, and roasts not, nor gloats over the misfortunes of the weak... but takes delights in the Maker's law and creation..."

"She shall know the peas of the Maker's benediction. The light shall lead her through the paths of this world and into the next..."

"The Veal holds no uncertainty for her and she will know no fear of death, for the Maker shall be her Bacon and her Shield, her foundation and her..."

On topic - they asked our money for the game, they asked our vote at the awards, they ask our patience over bugs and delays... yeah... I want the truth version!

Reminds me of the Governor of Brasília, just caught in a major corruption scheme and filmed while putting some 50k into his underwear... when asked about it, he said: "the money was to buy bread for the poors" ... political answers just stinks!

Maybe Flemeth was thinking about eating the dog but changed her mind at the last minute.

Or the governor of my state (South Carolina) who disappeared for 6 days, then claimed to be 'Hiking the appalachian trail'. Loosely translated, that means 'banging my mistress in Argentina'.

You hear that Bioware? You asking us to buy something you didnt release is the same as banging an Argentinian. Congratulations by they way, Argentinians are hot.

All I've given away is that you survive Ostagar. Given that this DLC is called Return to Ostagar, I think you should have already known that.

Well, if you are of a certain class and race and did a certain stuff in your origins and go back there asap after Ostagar, you already have a son and a claim for parental support of course!!!
