There's no way? So how did news get out about Awakening before EA/BioWare announced it?

thats is different.Expansion hadnt been announced,When we are talking about a delay the first that going to be informed are the customers

Rarely ever works like that.



Some examples:

The world new about the Borders stores in the UK closing before the staff did.

Gaming news sites reported on the possibility of Awakening before it was announced.

WoW: Cataclysm was basically known months before announcement.

Sites were reporting Michael Jackson's death hours before official confirmation.



They could have an inside source, they may just be guessing. You can't prove it either way.

Sooo wrong. A ton of people know about the delay.....EA knows, Microsoft knows, whoever distributes for PC knows......etc......etc......etc. Maybe the guy had an insde cousin at one of those companies and found out something others couldn't. That's how all leaks go and that's how the Awakening got out.

At least there is still light on that corner of the world, giving hope to those still waiting. But we need to move on already and feel the love from other threads. We can't be occupied by so much disappointment done by the delay.

So let me get this right... 1st it was "Holiday Season 2009"... then it was Jan 5th 2010, then it was Jan 6th 2010... now it's like June 15th 2010 or something? I bought 400 bioware points for absolutely no reason? Is that it??

Where did you get that info, June 15th? Its way past for an alleged one hour or less DLC.

Guys, don't hold your breath for it. Disappointment is a ****.

I think it's highly unlikely it'll be released today. If it was just a matter of a single day they would have told us. It's very likely that, once the bug is solved, the whole content will have to be certified again with Microsoft and Sony. That's not gonna happen in a day. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

Yes. According to the rumours, it will be released today. That's fact that cannot be denied.

Whether that holds up as true or not is a different matter.

 Well to my point of view regarding RTO delayed and the no ETA etc. They should have just kept it quiet and not make people get excited and then make them wait.

Just like some of you, I'm disappointed since I held back from finishing the game for this. I find the timing of the announcement of Awakening a bit funny though, for some reason.

You order pizza. They say okay it'll be here in 45 minutes -1hr. Everyone knows not to expect it to come in time. But as a customer u secretly hope.

No news after 1hr 15 minutes. You are a bit peeved you call back asking the company why no news is heard. They say they have no idea but the dispatch rider is out already.

Dispatch rider calls you says it will be there in 15 minutes.

14 minutes later he calls you and says

"Oh the pizza is delayed, but do you want to pre order a larger pizza. it's 15 times larger and likewise more expensive. It will be delivered in 2 days"
