Yay, once again the people who steal from Bioware get a better product than those of us who pay for everything. It truly makes me feel like a complete idiot.
Welcome to the world of pirating....

How long does certification usually take, anyway? Anyone know? I can't imagine it would really take days upon weeks for someone to look at some content and say, "congratulations sir, you've been certified!"

What I'm worried about is that despite the fact that it was me who raised awareness to RtO on torrents, and my PM's to both moderators and developers (including Victor), not a single one PM'd me back and asked for the proof I had.
In other words, are they actually investigating it, or telling us they are so we shut up?

Relax squid, mistakes are made all the time on games, most of them are exploited or ignored. Bioware is trying to give us a better than average gaming experience.
I believe Squid might have been refencing speciafically the patch that didnt come out for the PC version for several days after release. The patch that contained many of the fixes already implemented in the retail versions for the consoles. In this I have to agree with him completely. That was a mistake of Bioware and shows that we did pay for an unfinished product. It was not evena day zero patch, which would have been more than acceptable. Of course if Squid wasn't referencing this particularly, well now he was

Close but no. I am referring to the 360 version that still is awaiting the patch that is coming with RTO that I am seriously hoping will be more than fixing the broken achievements. Since we still haven't gotten a single patch.

I don't know why people are complaining about some RTO torrents out there, how do you even know that its the same DLC the Bioware is releasing? There are a ton of game programmers out there that could easily make their own add-on for this game and pass it off as something BIoware might create. I personally would be avoiding these torrents, because you don't know what kind of hidden virus that where put in it to damage your computer or steal your personal information.

I'll just point out that we exchanged a few PMs. The fact that I didn't ask for your 'proof' in no way indicates that I didn't believe you. Nor does it indicate that I didn't actually do a search myself to see if this thing was actually appearing on torrent sites (which I did).In other words, are they actually investigating it, or telling us they are so we shut up?
Why so quick to assume the worst?

Well, because I PM'd the devs you pointed me to, one of which is posting in this thread, and he, along with everyone else, never asked for proof.
Why does BioWare need to "launch an investigation" into whether it's on torrent sites or not, when if they had PM'd me I could've given them a direct link to one that not only exists but works perfectly.
I wouldn't have given you the link even if you had asked, I was referring to BioWare employees seemingly being uninterested in seeing the torrent.
As to the people questioning whether it's the actual RtO, it's because the installation is DLC-installation, not a mod, and includes everything mentioned in the description including the quests and items/gear.
It's the real deal, whether we like it or not.

Easy there, it's only the close of the second work week in January. As yer sig. says that's the "earliest" that the IGN dude thinks (somehow) that it could be out. I'm sure they'll announce it officially....to quote Blizzard "soon".

Yeah and then he used SkyNet to synthesise all the official voice actors to make them say things they've never said before.
You're dumb.

I think it sucks that pc users now also have to wait for the consoles to get a release that may already be finished.
