I can't see why you start a thread about why Chris Priestly changed his status or why most of use should care, but seeing how the Thread title is about RTO both bad and good news I think this would be good news. If you wanted to talk about Chris Priestly changing his status maybe you should have made the title of the thread Chris Priestly changes his status, what do you think it means? but that probably would have got the thread shutdown. Also seeing how this is one of the official thread for RTO that is what we should be talking about here. Not your overinflated ego. End of DiscussionEricXIII wrote...

I guess if you mean discussioning what we think will be good about the DLC and not the negative thoughts of other people it would be off-topic but as far as this thread is concerned it is completely on topic, just the other side of the spectrum for where the current discussion is at.EricXIII wrote...

So instead of us discussing the bad things about the RTO DLC and people's opinion of what happened, why don't we discuss the good thing we think are going to happen.
Simple enough,that would be off-topic
I created this thread because Chris priestly changed his status to "chris priestly bears the weight of both bad and good news" so i would like to you to explain what that has anything to do with your wish list of RtO DLC?

I realize this is your thread, and I've been following it along with you since the first page was posted, but I think everyone here also realizes that the original line of questioning has been pretty much exhausted. Since this is the only RtO thread currently active, and all others have been closed and pointed this direction, maybe it would be best to follow other related lines of questioning pertaining to RtO, so at least there can be some active discussion without completely abandoning the goals of the original thread (which, at least from my understanding, were to explore and inform about RtO and it's delay/release)EricXIII wrote...

I don't blame you for dragging it off topic earlier, that would be the person complaining about pirated version of RTO out on the internet.
I don't play well with others unless I really have to, hence the reason why I don't play MMOs anymore. But I promise to be better:DBut yeah, be excellent to each other.

No need to apologise out of the mods I've seen on this forum you are one of my favorites. You try to understand peoples opinions without coming across with a superior attitude or over judging a situation.

My biggest question is how is the dog being recruited in RTO going to work, and what if you killed the dog the first time is he still there? Might have to start a new game without getting him the first time
Maybe it's a different dog?

Sweet we are getting a poodle war hound. You heard it hear first folks Eurpterid confirms it...
I think if you kill him the first time it is a pretty good chance that it would be a different dog or you do not get that second chance. Maybe the dog stayed with the "mysterious survivor" we are to meet on our return to that glorious battlefield.

As far as companions that were there at Ostagar Wynne, Alistar, and the Dog. Morrigan was in the wilds at that time and Flemeth was the one that rescued your character and Alistar.

True but after the battle she tells you about what the darkspawn where doing to survivors so maybe she will have comments on this when we get to see the aftermath of the battle.darkshadow136 wrote...

She could of also just heard that from her mother Flemeth who went into the thick of things to rescue us. But who knows as Mobid as Morrigan can be at times she may have taken a peek. Lol I' sure it was like a traing wreck she just couldn't look away.

My next big question is how is there snow on the ground in RTO? The only place I have seen snow it the temple in the Urn quest. Does anyone know how long after the battle does RTO take place, because to me it seems like only a month or two after the battle.
Maybe, just maybe, it was nearly winter. Jory mentions the cold and the Korcari Wilds stretches into a frozen tundra since Ferelden is pretty far south.

First off, baking food is no were near as hard as programming a game that can be sold. Don't even pretend you can compare. Art may be hard to make it good, but it's a one time deal, you don't got to constantly add to the finished work and make sure it fits right.
If you think the customer can do whatever then you are wrong. The only right we have is to pay for the game and it's extras to receive it, or not pay and not receive.
The customer isn't always right.

If you listen to some of the conversations in DA:O, you'll find them talking about the battle at Ostagar in terms of many months ago at a later point in the game. It's safe to say that DA:O doesn't relay the timeframe to the player in an obvious way other than through dialogue. Apparently, travelling between areas can take days/weeks, for instance.

Maybe in future DLC we can have a calender or something similiar added. It might just be me but I would be interested in knowing how long I have been wandering around in the worlds time.
I wonder if fur coats will be added for some of our more scantly clad companions to wear. I would not want any of their tender parts getting frostbite.
