That Italian magazine announcement was found BEFORE Chris Priestly came on the Delay topic and actually mentioned that they had no eta for release. Unless a magazine unrelated to Bioware has the ability to predict the future, it won't come out simply because the magazine said so. If it DOES come out today, it will be due to them solving whatever technical issue they're having and thus don't need to wait any longer.

It will most likely be next Tuesday at the earliest, that's usually when DLC comes out for xbox and they usually ship DLC for xbox and p.c at the same time. Hopefully it'll come out sometime this week if they fix the "issue" though.

Could be, depending on if they've sorted everything out with Sony yet, usually DLC comes out later on PS3.  Maybe they postponed it so they could ship it out on all three platforms at the same time.

Approximately a month for release is NOT an official statement, and NO ONE has officially said anything about simultaneous release.

Could we PLEASE stop propagating false information, as it will only confuse an already confusing situation. I'm not blaming EricXIII for this by any means, he was just offering an opinion, but please stop spreading it around as if it were fact.

people going off like they've been will just make bioware not pass anything along anymore. too much headache to bother. i am anxious to get the new dlc too, but screaming and threatening will not make it come out faster. i like how bioware is in touch with its fans/customers, but all that will end if people don't learn a little common courtesy. they have no obligation to tell us anything or discuss their product.if people don't relax, that will all end.

The way they are passing along information is much worse than not saying anything till the dlc comes out. I'll rather they put in less effort trying to communicate with us if communicating means giving false promises. Twice.

agreed. plus, that profile statement seems more like chris expressing how he is the messenger for the good and bad news. you know, kill the messenger and all? let's just let things be until chris or someone else can let us know what's going on. i'm sure that flame war wore on some bioware people who felt bad about the delay to begin with.

The flaming wasn't bad compared to something like WoW's forums. Most of it was pointless(funny) spamming of cat and anteater pictures.

I don't think they promised anything to be honest, people should know by now that official release dates do not take priority over problems with the product to be released. You act as if you expect them to ship it with problems just to make the release date to make you happy. The fact that they said they are working on it let's you know that they aren't just sitting on their collective asses. Maybe they are trying to get all the platforms out in conjunction and are having a hard time getting those folks to compromise on a single date. The possibilities to be delayed by something other than the product itself are too many in my opinion, and justs adds more delay to the process as a whole.
