I don't know why people keeping telling Bioware to look at Blizzard on how to do release. So your telling a great company to go look at a company that makes game crack to keep their customer hook into the game even though there has been no major improve to graphics within there game, no story just mindless playing. How long has Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 suppose to have been released something like 3 years ago. I think Bioware is doing the correct thing by giving a product that the customer will be happy with when it does come out.

Guess who earns more money?

Doesn't reflect well on Bioware now does it? They keep making it seem like they have last minute unforseen circumstances that cause delays.

Better wake up earier the third time or you're losing your client / customer.

SImply not true, in fact you are so wrong that it's almost comical.  ActivisionBlizzard even sued EA Games because some small EA company basically hijacked "Brutal Legend" from Vivendi.

Activision Blizzard is basically a money mint at this point. Steady cash flow from WOW. Record sales from MW2.

I let bioware slide, but if blizzard were consumed by EA, I would drop every blizzard game in a heartbeat without question. No more WoW sub, and i'd never touch a blizzard game again. And thats no joke.

Don;t worry EA can't afford to buy over Activision Blizzard. A blizzard will happen in the tropics before EA has enough money.

Yeah, as I said above. I do agree that Blizzard has stood strong in that sense, I just don't respect them for caving to every little whim their community demands of them, they could have been so much more.

But, could we please get the "available this holiday season" taken off the "Return to Ostagar" announcement on the add-ons page? That's misleading. Perhaps "coming soon" would work until an official release date is announced?

I have no problems with it being delayed -- I would much rather have a software company deliver a quality product (as BioWare has proven time and time again) than to release something buggy or half put together. It's just confusing until you wade through dozens of forum pages and then get google eyes because of all the spam. I just really don't have time to read all the speculations and useless dribble. I just want to know what BioWare has to say until the product actually releases, then I don't mind hearing the fan's opinions of the release. Speculating just does us no good.

It will be out when it's out and I'm sure it will be good.

I don't buy Blizzard products. Can't stand WoW. That's a totally different audience (sure there's some cross-over). People looking for story-driven games don't look to Blizzard to scratch that itch.

Why must it always be about the money? Yes, the corporation is in it to make a profit but the designers and people that work hard on the project just want to make the best quality game they can make.

Telling BioWare to be like Blizzard is like telling Red Lobster to be like Long John Silver's. Sure, Long John Silver's makes more profit nationwide, but Red Lobster doesn't cater to the same customer base. They each offer a valuable service to fit a particular niche.

It was so buggy at release that 3 months later the price dropped from 40 dollars to 7.50 on steam, impulse, you name it. And their game forums were something out of a Dante novel.

Look at how much negative publicity was received for "All your base are belong to us." Right?

i like blizzard for stacraft and warcraft 1+2, but thats it, most profit isn't the same as best for everyone, sure bioware(and especially ea) wants money, but the don't need to copy someone to achieve this, they alredy did alot of stuff to sell their games to a larger audience, almost too much for my taste.

this rto delay tragedy is pretty sad,i don't realy blame bioware, but next time i rather wait 3 to 6 months after first playtrough to grab all the nice community mods and official content for further playthroughs. the dlc concept isn't bad either, but not sufficent to keep people constantly playing, seems like some people were expecting just that.

Well it seems to have been leaked or something, because its up for download on torrent sites. Some people I know tried it out and they are reporting that it works. I havn't downloaded yet since i bought the point already so I may as wel wait for the real deal.
