The game has been leaked - to be more precise: It has been leaked 2 days ago. If i hadn't bought those 400 points already ... anyway, that leaked version has been reported to work flawlessy contrary to the Bioware explanation. This somehow raises the question if the delay isn't directly connected to consoles and MS.

Seriously, i am quite pissed because people are playing the DLC already while we, being honest , have to wait for another 20 days or so? A great way to annoy your customers.

PS: Sorry for my English being German and all ...

isnt it obvious that he add some lines at addIns.xml so the dlc appear in the menu?Or he probably just created a 1min "mod"

There are people playing this RIGHT NOW. Live in denial all you want. Bioware screwed up. It happens.

If you can show me a real Screenshot taken from return to ostagar with snow with your character inside,i will and probably all the others folks will believe you, else we all going to assume that you used the toolset..

What about a video?
Just found it on YouTube...
May be spoilerish (I didn't watch it, just scrolled, don't want be spoiled myself).

OMFG...i feel like an idiot right now... i have paid 65euros in total for this game and dont have RtO and those who havent paid a single dollar have it :crying:

Good thing is that it may be bugged somehow, if that's the version BioWare stopped from being released.

No, you are delusional and it hurts for me to watch it.

Please wake up to reality.

RtO is out on torrents for the bastards who pirate good games instead of supporting.
There was no *major bug* or anything else preventing the dlc from functioning perfectly well, hundreds of users have already completed and commented on RtO.

Nobody can make a full working RtO in the GD toolset complete with voice acting and everything in a few days.

Those of us who support BioWare will wait and buy it anyways (a huge number of people) but we are getting the shorter, more expensive, dirtier side of the stick.

Please stop your delusions, I can't stand to watch you writhe in agony anymore pretending to yourself that the full RtO is not finished and available when every fibre in your brain knows fully well that the content was functional on the 5th and that people have been playing it since the 6th.
You can see clearly now, the fog should be lifting.  Don't you feel better?

Yes, you landlubbing treacherous preeming ninnys over at BioWare, we want our DLC too! It isn't fair that just because someone leaked it without you having control we don't get the chance to play it. If I say it works well, it does! You are oh-so not worthy of my money!

Seriously guys, don't you see how silly you are acting? BioWare can't release it to the public just because it's been leaked. Obviosly they have not yet resolved the issue (whatever it is) or don't see it fit to release RTO to the public yet. I would think they are in the best position to judge wheter RTO is in a good state or not. And if you try to justify downloading the DLC illegally because 'BioWare screwed up' then I feel really sorry for you.

Now, here's to hoping that BioWare will release it in the following days.

There probably is a legitimate problem with either the PS3 or 360-version. Doesnt mean the PC-version isnt fine though.

Bastards playing the fraking DLC and the game! I have no problem playing something that "they" can until I can buy it normally. I did it with Origins when EA delayed my C.E. pre-paid, pre-orderred DVD for some 3 weeks past the global release date and I have no guilty feelings whatsoever about it!

If I can play it now, I will. If they want my money, then release the damn thing when "ready" and I'll gladly support them by purchasing it. I intend to purchase and play all Dragon Age content BioWare gives us, not necessarily in that order if they fail to release it before inside people leak it. Or how do you imagine it gets leaked to being with?

Rob Bartel:
Oof. Microsoft identified a small but nasty achievement bug in the final hours. It's now fixed but the entire submission process has to start over again. Understandably, we're avoiding any mention of new release dates for the time being.

Well I'm not angry because I understand business is business.
BioWare is no Blizzard, they can't do what they know is best for their gamers because their forumla is not profitable enough.  Therefore they turn to the same vices every other game company turn to for profitability: The infectious sickening plague destroying gaming: Consoles.

Now the major companies which own consoles are not stupid either (and have 0 concern for quality of games or the steady quality reduction of the industry) and as such, to ensure their profitability and a massive market for their IPs (intellectual properties) they force all sorts of agreements on otherwise great companies like BioWare.  BioWare has no option but to get their dlc certified for release on the consoles because the fact is they need the money to remain very profitable or EA will axe them like they've axed many other great companies who had a great product.  If the console companies will not certify their dlc, their money scheme falls apart (and it's been working so well thus far!).

I never said that RtO was perfect without a single problem , I said somthing to the effect of it being complete and in perfectly working order.  It is.  Hundreds of people have already enjoyed it beginning to end, many of whom are even recommending it.  As for what Fernando said, I could really care less, the guy is doing his job well, what else could he say?  The best line for every business is always to say that everything is in the interest of upholding the highest quality standards because of our deep concern for our magnificent clients.  I'm not so easily buttered up but I certainly would not hold it against anybody from BioWare that they would withold the information from us, I can't imagine what we would do if we were told the truth in its entirety but I'm sure it would not be constructive.

At the end of the day it's still a great game which I enjoy and BioWare is still a good company I've been supporting for years and years.  I don't expect them to be immune to the sickening taint of consolitis, once a company involves themselves with Microsoft and Sony, quality falls through the floor and patches get delayed.  I guess this must just be your first experience with this but I have unfortunately suffered through a few games already which used Games for Windows Live and they all had similar problems.  Patches would be working fine ready for release only to be pulled back by a branch other than the quality control/testing side.

C'est la vie.

well one thing that bioware could do in this long delay and a way to get revenge is to modify the RTO and add some more special treasures just to be annoying... :P

I realy like consoles still remember playing mario on nintendo decades ago... but not cross platforming for every game, and those achievements don't add anything imo, to get a reward for acomplishing a task is nice, but thousends of little badges with no use? even accepting delays and tendious qualty testing just for those achievements?i don't get it

My delusion is about this torrent s**t. I gave my money to Bioware every time they makes games. I support their works. I love their games. This thing broke my trust in a Company that i always love more then the other publishers. I got more then 1000 bioware points, all of it in the belive of the good work of Bioware. Now i feel joked. Sry for my bad english.

I do not believe people are angry the game got pirated (happes to all games). I do believe however people are angry because Bioware stopped releasing the PC DLC because of console related problems. In fact it seems quite unfair forcing PC players to wait just because of XBOX archievement issues.

Unfortunate situation. I don't think many people would disagree that it sticks in the craw that pirates are playing content that honest paying customers of Bioware are still waiting for.

The situation is indeed unfortunate, and very displeasing.
