So your saying the fernando lied about the quality issue?how you know that the RtO is perfect without a simple problem?have you tried it?I steal cant understand how your not agry with the thing that happens here
Well I'm not angry because I understand business is business.
BioWare is no Blizzard, they can't do what they know is best for their gamers because their forumla is not profitable enough. Therefore they turn to the same vices every other game company turn to for profitability: The infectious sickening plague destroying gaming: Consoles.
Now the major companies which own consoles are not stupid either (and have 0 concern for quality of games or the steady quality reduction of the industry) and as such, to ensure their profitability and a massive market for their IPs (intellectual properties) they force all sorts of agreements on otherwise great companies like BioWare. BioWare has no option but to get their dlc certified for release on the consoles because the fact is they need the money to remain very profitable or EA will axe them like they've axed many other great companies who had a great product. If the console companies will not certify their dlc, their money scheme falls apart (and it's been working so well thus far!).
I never said that RtO was perfect without a single problem , I said somthing to the effect of it being complete and in perfectly working order. It is. Hundreds of people have already enjoyed it beginning to end, many of whom are even recommending it. As for what Fernando said, I could really care less, the guy is doing his job well, what else could he say? The best line for every business is always to say that everything is in the interest of upholding the highest quality standards because of our deep concern for our magnificent clients. I'm not so easily buttered up but I certainly would not hold it against anybody from BioWare that they would withold the information from us, I can't imagine what we would do if we were told the truth in its entirety but I'm sure it would not be constructive.
At the end of the day it's still a great game which I enjoy and BioWare is still a good company I've been supporting for years and years. I don't expect them to be immune to the sickening taint of consolitis, once a company involves themselves with Microsoft and Sony, quality falls through the floor and patches get delayed. I guess this must just be your first experience with this but I have unfortunately suffered through a few games already which used Games for Windows Live and they all had similar problems. Patches would be working fine ready for release only to be pulled back by a branch other than the quality control/testing side.
C'est la vie.
