1: what are you talking about?
2: they caught something and decided to delay the release to ensure the quality is as good as possible.

I've been told by a friend today (not from an internet forum) that a pirated version of RtO is floating around that actually WORKS.  I wouldn't dare try it myself because it does sound very fishy.  Although, if it truly is out there and fully playable... we certainly deserve some answers.

But I'll wait until I see new solid gameplay screenshots or something more concrete than that menu pic before I start demanding answers from Bioware and the like.

Seriously, the first thing I wanted to do was go back to Ostagar and loot someone's beard, armor, and earring. If it's not there....fine. But at this point to complain about the price seems unreal. You might as well go ahead and call me a sheeple and complain about DLC in general. All other arguments have already been posted with regard to the delay and lack of announcements as well as the price of DLC.



OK. Maybe that was an unnecessary rant. I'm just used to following this post and want to see more positive stuff.

I still think Sony just put pressure on them to wait till all 3 platforms could be released at once. I personally don't know of what kind of quality issue they could have come across on the eve of release to postpone it this long. If they really did come across something, someone really screwed the pooch during the testing  during the certification process. Also could just be they realized they wanted to release it later to better coincide with the release of the Awakening expansion.

Yep it just sounds like Corporate politics to me. Big old Sony gets their feathers ruffled by Bioware planning an jan.  5th release for PC and ps3's competition x-box 360. Sony gets on the red phone and calls Bioware and say how dare you do this we will pull  your licences to make any future expansions for our system if you don't hold off to launch all 3 platforms at once. Bioware bows head and knee to the almight Sony Maker, and says let it be done. :P

If they release RTO before the date scheduled for the PS3 version they are telling the truth and good for Bioware for catching the bug before RTO got out, however...



If this bug is somehow mysteriously fixed just in time to see a simultaneous release on all three platforms, then Sony got to EA who got to Bioware, and they lied about the bug.

They stated some where it wasnt a bug that delayed the release. It was a qa issue or something of that sort.

I think your 3rd option will be the case personally. I'm not mad about this whole thing anymore. I'm more laughing the they think we are that stupid that we cant see the writing on the wall on why it has been delayed. I've moved on to other games at this point if I get RTO it will most likey be around the time the expansion comes out anyway at this point.

More than likly they was not ready at all or as you said someone really screwed the pooch during the testing.

Or the quality issue they found was during the testing for PS3 in which case it would still be Sony's fault for the delay. But who know in the end it is all speculation. I just have a feeling Bioware has not been totally honest with us during this whole thing. But just call me paranoid.
