followed by Way of the Samurai 4, Catherine, Tales of Graces F (all UK releases this year)
then Hitman Absolution, Mass Effect 3, Kingdom of Amulur Reckoning, Warriors Orochi 3,
Witcher 2:Assassin of King and Sleeping Dogs

Personally I think 2012 was a pretty good year, for the games I mentioned alone (damn, do I love them!). Didn't get to play Dishonored, guess I'd have rather liked it as well. And if ME3 had been what I'd hoped for it would have been an amazing gaming year for me.

Chivalry Medieval Warfare and Crusader Kings 2 are two of the games I've played the most this year. Along with Dark Souls too.

I think the worst game I bought was Diablo 3, not because it was a bad game necessarily, but It just doesn't have the same excitement for me that Diablo 2 had.

Well I for one am voting Borderlands 2 as I did in the other recent thread about this. The Walking Dead is a close second now that I have played it though.

I should also mention Far Cry 3 and Dishonored. Both great games.

Hm.....that's tough. I'd probably say The Walking Dead or Dishonored. But I really liked Halo 4, Mass Effect 3, and Gravity Rush too.....so that's a pretty tough question.

There's a lot of games on my list for 2012, but as my number one pick would have to be Dragon's Dogma. That game surprised me in so many ways and became an instant favorite of mine.

I had never had this much fun with just the gameplay alone.

The Walking Dead and Spec Ops The Line are the games that I'll make everyone at least try. I loved them.

Dishonored, Assassin's Creed III, Borderlands 2 (still haven't finished) and Far Cry 3 (I'm near the end now) are the others I've enjoyed / am enjoying a lot

Sleeping Dogs and Darksiders 2 were pretty good games, but I wouldn't count them among my favourites this year.

I'll have to find some time for XCOM sooner or later.
