Is Mounted Combat feat supposed to work that way?

I wanted to include Mounted Combat feat in my module, so I put the proper script (x3_mod_def_hb) on heartbeat in module properties.

When I checked it, AC of my character during mounted combat was jumping - by default it was 27 and it jumped between values like 29, 30, 38 etc.

It sometimes increased, sometimes decreased.

Now, I'm not sure, but is this the proper way that this feat should work? From what I've read it seems that it rather increases temporarily AC, not makes it random every three seconds or so.

Thanks for help.

How does the Mounted Combat feat work? Does it roll a new check every heartbeat? If so, that may be what's going on. A new roll each round could cause some weird AC changes.

Well, I'm not sure. The script seems to talk about AC increase, not jumping.

We use mounted combat in our mod. By default you should just have the bonus applied when they mount and when they gain a level(if they gained more ride) and when they're respawned/revived.

yes:

though the OP reported the jump going from 27->38, which seems a bit off.  i think the max is +5 or +6.
