Just wanted to post this because I've never made it thru a match with these circumstances.

• Firebase Rio
• Reaper
• Platinum
• Paladin with hurricane, acolyte and juggernaut 5

I joined in wave 2, died right where I spawned. So I watched and saw an demolisher camped at the backend of the map where the shipping containers are with an ammo case inside one of them. So I head back there when wave 3 starts, and nothing happens. So here are the glitches I saw:

• No enemies were visible (except for 3 pets that appeared for no apparent reason).
• No shots were visible.
• No sounds of enemies or shots
• Invisible Ice shield
• I thought there was only the 1 demolisher, apparently there were 2 other players, but I couldn't see them either
• There was no indication if I killed an enemy. It would say if I had 25 assists, 25 kills, etc. but no kill indicator or score indicator for a kill
• Hack points terminals were invisible
• hack countdowns were not shown
• Extraction countdown was not shown
• I saw acotlyte shots fired from an invisible player

I didn't have any targets to fire at, so I hung with the demolisher by the ammo crate. Since I didn't have anything to shoot at, I spammed snap freeze. When the demolisher started chucking grenades, and the enemy appeared to be on top of us based on how far the grenades were thrown, I planted my shield to provide cover for the demo. Every once in a while I'd shoot snap freeze, but I'd replant and protect the demo. No one talked during the match, maybe a glitch or the players.

Made it to full extraction (running the entire length hoping I wouldn't run into something big and invisible was interesting). When the scores were shown, there were only 2 players listed. When we reached the lobby, 4 players were shown. I scored about 70k, and only used up 2 medigels. I think I was pretty lucky, but I just wanted to document this because it was the weirdest match I'd ever played.

Wow. Would've loved to see a video of that, it sounds really freaky. Congrats on makin' it out alive.

thanks, I have no idea how I did though. The demo was basically pointing to where I should plant my shield and I did.

Huh... based on the thread title, I was expecting Condor.

I've had a game like that once. More often I get into a game where one of the players is invisible and doesnt show up on the scoreboard or killfeed.

I played one at reactor against reapers, the 2 players were floating with their arms out like Jesus at the last supper, their shots were comming from the crotch area. The enemies seemed to ignore me until I shot them, whenever a player would join they immediately left. I asked the host if he saw the same thing he said no and didn't believe me.

I get these all the time.  Had one yesterday, was playing a Volus merc in a support role, thought I'd come second, turns out I was third, but never even realised we had a fourth player.  Always happens offhost.

This always happens to me. In the most recent one there was a fourth player in the game who was invisible to me and did not show that he was in the game what so ever, not even his kills/revives or anything.

It was on Firebase Rio too.

Yes, game shows new depths of weirdness recently. I've seen quite a few things in last week or so, like player who teleported around the map and refused to show himself in scores tab(yet he kept appearing in killing feed); or random graphics or sound disappearing; or invisible enemies...

Yep this happened to me not long ago on Rio, I could only see one other player yet at the end the scoreboard showed four players?

You know, for all people's complaints about Condor, I've never had major glitches there. But Rio, that's glitch central. I've not had them quite as weird as the OP, but I've had some weird sh*t happen on Rio.

Weren't there z lot of complaints about Rio being uber-glitchy when it was first released? Or am I imagining that?

Yeah, for some reason it's same for me. Never had any major glitches on Condor but on other maps they seem to happen more often. I had invisible enemies happen twice on Rio, invisible teammates twice on Goddess, and unclimbable ladders and other smaller glitches on almost every map.

But for me the Reactor Hazard is the worst. I one day played 3 matches on that map with different hosts and every single time it was glitchy. I couldn't take cover, couldn't use ladders, projectile powers such as warp went right through enemies, reactor doors were not visible for me, announcer voice was mute during objective waves, sometimes I couldn't damage enemies and they just mostly ignored me.

This was just a weird night overall. 4 platinum matches, all 4 had issues. 2 of the matches had players using the missile glitch, 1 had the situation I listed above, and the final one had all my icons for consumables and powers replaced with soundwaves. Also, my powers were reassigned different buttons.
