Way too much anime and JRPG in DA2... hope they don't make the same mistake in DA3. (Yes, that's what I call it unless it's better than DA2!)

This^, Im afraid that they will turn Dragon Age into a JRPG, hopefully im wrong about this.

Been a while since I played DA2, and I can't for the life of me figure out what a C+P dungeon is. Probably really obvious when I hear it.

I can't wait to play DA:I or 3 or whatever the official name is. The story line was pretty awesome, can't wait to see where you go from here. The decisions at the end really made me think. Even if you're pro-mage the whole game siding with the Templars is justifiable. Deciding what to do with old Anders was tough too. Best of all, I got to kill Meridith AND Orsino. AWWW YEEEAH! Seriously though, I can't wait for the new game!

I'm glad you enjoyed it and posted it here, The Mad Hanar.  So many just post negativity.  While the game had flaws, they weren't deal-breakers for me.  I played it and enjoyed it.  I'm glad Bioware isn't afraid to try new things, tinker with the formula and try to make the best game they possibly can.  Each one teaches them how they can improve the next and you aren't going to please everyone all the time.

Ultimately, that's the point of the game, to have fun.  If you did, then Bioware succeeded.  I've kept coming back for more playthroughs myself, enjoyed the characters and had a great deal of fun and looking forward to DA:Inquisition.

As for Grumpy McEmopants, I liked him--he wasn't my favorite but I did like him, though I disliked Anders (who dies in every playthrough).

That's pretty much 60% of the game content. :P

I enjoyed my first playthrough of DA2, but the reuse of areas stopped me from enjoying more playthroughs unfortunately, though I plan to give it another try again soon in my upcoming holiday.

Unfortunately, I don't quite agree with BioWare's approach on game mechanics. I don't feel like they improved from DA:O to DA2. Trying new things is fine, but sometimes it's a better choice to finetune something that already works and has proven to be a success.

In my opinion, Meredith's fight was as awesome as having the Warden fights the angry merchant from Lothering as a final boss.

He is kind of a jerk if you bring him around Merrill though.

Anders
acted more or less in the same way and he's a mage with a spirit/demon
inside him, at can easily be classified as an abomination. At least Fenris had reason to act that way. I could've understood Anders acting as a jerk on Merrill if he didn't made a deal with a spirit, making said spirit a demon which he can't control, and himself  an abomination.
Not that I think Fenris is right in what he said to Merrill. As much as I don't like blood magic, certain comment of both Anders and Fenris made me wish that there was an interruption in the banter when I can kick both asses.

What is the date for DA3?

I'm not sure even the good people at BioWare know that at this time, but go ahead and start a thread on the topic and see how fast it gets locked down by mods. ^_^

I just thought they were both weird.

Orisino turned into a fat ogre...thing with a detachable head that turned into a blood magic spitting....thing.

After that you face Meredith who can summon....statues. Image IPB

Both he and Anders are total jerks to Merrill. I'm glad you enjoyed the game, I did too.:)

Yeah, I just didn't like Anders in general. He would constantly rip on elves for using blood magic, yet he voluntarily lets a demon live in his body. He complained about how every Templar sees every mage as dangerous yet he did everything in his power to prove them right. He was so obviously jelous of and hated every romance option yet every time my FemHawke would flirt with him he'd be all "I'd only hurt you."

Well, there's also the comically oversized swords he uses

But yeah, he grew on me too ;)

I felt so bad at the end. I sided with the mages a lot in that game, but Anders forced my hand. For the good of the city I sided with the Templars to restore order and I killed Anders to make sure he didn't do anything else bad. Though, based on the ending, it seems what I did actually helped mages everywhere. So that's nice. Image IPB

DA2 story ended on a cliffhanger & Hawke's story is over, so I've no idea what you're looking forward to. The whole Mage vs Templar thing got old fast.
