DA II's credits had a slower, more fantasy rendition of Florence and the Machine's "I'm not calling you a liar" which I thought was the perfect song as it completely matched the mood of the game and the ending, especially if you romanced Anders or Isabela (I'm also an unabashed fan of Florence Welch and her work).

So, if DA III were to feature another artist and make it their own for the credits, what songs do you think could work?

I think Lana Del Rey's "Born to Die" would be a good choice if there's another ultimate sacrifice type ending, or if your LI has to die:

If the lore and backstory revolves heavily around the Dalish, "The Old Ways" by Loreena McKennitt (which is a more conventionally setting appropriate choice) could work:

For something on the more upbeat side, a less techno sounding rendition of Ladytron's song "Evil" might work well:

What are other people's thoughts?

ETA: Also if they want to use Florence and the Machine again "No Light, No Light" or "Shake it Out" could also work. Or "Seven Devils" which was very appropriately used in a Game of Thrones trailer.

the Lana del Ray song wasn't bad. I could totally see them going with Florence again though.

a send-off to the party members showing each one's epilogue alongside their character theme while the credits roll ala FF6, god i loved that ending.

I like this. Though I think that those should play before the credits, which would be accompanied with a new song that matches the mood. Maybe have a different song depending on the state of the Thedas following your protagonist's actions.

I liked Jade Empire's credits done by the voice actors as themselves. Funny comments included one voice actor bitter knowing that no one used him anymore once you got the companion that granted the 'drunken master' fighting style and an out of left field, laugh out loud reference to the 'there are four lights' Star Trek NG episode. I'm not saying I'd like this again for DA:I, but wouldn't mind something other than your run of the mill credits that you end up just skipping.

No More Lies - Iron Maiden

Not by any means a favorite of mine, but assuming we're the Inquisitor it fits very well.  Fantasyesque metal, lyrics that fit the story (or at least my assumptions of it), blah blah blah.  So its a choice based more on what would make sense rather then what I nessisarily like.  I mean its not a terrible song, just somewhat generic.  Which is perfect for a video game!  (Thats not fair, M4 Part 2 was amazing)

I'm thinking another 30 Seconds To Mars song. I really enjoyed their song "This Is War' in the end credits of Dragon Age: Origins. Maybe their song "Hurricane" could work. To me it just fits well with the Mage/Templar War and the sacrifices being made by both sides. Check it out ->

Probably wouldn't fit the tone at all, but:

Tangerine Dream - Scrap Yard from the movie Thief.

Epic solo at around 1:38.

You call that an epic solo?

(the entire song really, but it kicks into overdrive at 3:40)

Warning, risk of face melting.

(PS I support that song as credit music for every game ever made for now on)
