ME3 doesn't deserve to win any awards. It's not a bad game by any stretch, but it fails to do anything substantial that it's predecessors haven't already done, and let's face it, the ending is a let down.

Just because a game isn't radically different than it's predecessors doesn't mean you should look at that as a detriment. ME 2 was nominated as game of the decade by the VGA's so why would anybody want ME 3 to be so different in the first place. Just saying that makes me feel contradictory though lol, cuz I think it's effing stupid that Half-life 2 won that award and will denounce the VGA's till my dying breath for it. All besides the point though. Voting for ME 3 now doesn't mean it will win, it will just advance the bracket. So the only thing you should be thinking about is if it's better than Dishonored, which it is. Dishonored is great, but 10 years from now I'm going to be thinking baout how great ME 3 and the franchise as a whole was, not Dishonored.

I didn't say it needed to be radically different, but you're right, lack of innovation isn't really a flaw. But if you fail to innovate, you have to recreate or improve on the success of the predecessors, and for me ME3 felt like a step backward from ME2 in many regards.

Bioware's not getting my money nor my votes. I haven't played Dishonored however so I guess I will just... abstain. I suggest that if you want More Votes for ME 3 that you do not do anything to --encourage-- me to weigh in with -my- vote

ME3 is huge step-back if you compare it to predecessors. It's rushed out, dumbed down and it's obviously made to draw uncritical PS3 owners. Even more than ME2, but ME2 was at least completed and rounded game.

Can't vote for ME3 with it's mostly unforgivably daft story with too much WTF and ass pulls - some good character scenes and a couple of very good death scenes just don't make up for the immersion destroying stuff that made me laugh for all the wrong reasons. As Keyser Soze might have said, the greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was making people think ME3's ending was the only thing wrong with it.
