 Okay I will admit she isn't the best but she isn't hot at bad either. Okay when we see her as the shadow broker she is still adjusting to it (in ME2) and the. She goes to mars to help look for something to stop the reapers. But the biggest reason for her not being so bad at it is unlike the previous shadow broker she lost ALOT of resources since the reapers are destroying the galaxy and her network along with it. Her ship that we go to in LOTSB is gone since Cerberus destroyed it (well at least they would have had she not slammed it into the cruiser). So considering all this I say she isn't  that bad at being the shadow broker anyone agree.

Exactly. She's only been SB for what, 6 months before the Reapers began reaping? An without all her proper equipment. She's at a slight disadvantage. That, and the writers didn't do much with her on the SB front.

Well apparently Cerberus hit her ship just after Hackett had Shepard thrown in lock up for helping him, and she had nowhere to go so she came to Earth and hit all the Alliance red tape about she couldn't visit Shepard, and her equipment was going to be installed on the Normandy, and Glyph was going to be running the show while she was on Mars and Super Mac didn't figure out what she was doing. And Feron was running part of the show in another location. So....

That's what happened. And Super Mac forgot how much a Prothean expert knows about protheans with a PhD in Prothean Studies from Serrice University because all Asari do is shake their asses in sleazy bars for Aliens.

Well the last Shadow Broker was kind of a dick. So in comparison Liara is much better alternative.

Funny how writers like to change already planned content just to give a new character a point and purpose.

I recon Liara was originally meant to provide the information Traynor digs up. But since the writers couldn´t create a Kelly 2.0 and couldn´t just scrap her since they needed a lesbian romance option, they decided to give that job to Traynor instead.

She did. However either Mac or Patrick(Sams writer) changed this so Sam had more of a purpose and as you said, not a Kelly 2.0 So a old character suffered so a new character could shine even though it fails.

Yes, femShep really needed yet another Lesbian romance option. She had 3 if Kelly survived, and potentially 0 heterosexual options. Granted two of them were Allers and Kelly, and I guess they figured they needed a decent one. But come on, wasn't there enough story for Traynor to have something to do besides make Liara suck as a shadow broker? I think there was.<_<

FemShep needed another LI, so they gave Traynor some of Liaras scenes. and all FemShep got was a incomplete LI, Sill like Traynor though.

Gooby plz. And you don't read on. Was there any other story they could have used to give Traynor purpose? Hmmm? I think there was a lot more story. Face the facts here. The story was rushed and there was a lot of it that was left out. They could have made a real good character out of Traynor without taking parts from other characters.

The campaign in ME3 was the shortest of the three installments, or does this go over everyone's head? While the "content" in lines due to having to merge the "decisions that didn't matter" into one game from previous games may have added more lines of dialogue, the campaign was shorter by about 10 hours, and then that ending. Don't get me going.
