ITT: Grown babies who would rather turn off their game than see a bittersweet ending where the hero doesn't get to jump on his stallion and take his PAWG/nerdy shy arab girl/exotic but boring blue girl harem with him.

sooo your subjective tastes and priorities are objectively better than others' and enough to warrant being insulting?

Immediately after finishing, I re-imported my first playthrough with the intention of waiting for all DLC to come out before finishing in the HOPES that the ending would change. I haven't even seen the extended cut additions for myself, so I want to at least make it through that once before I make final decisions for any other playthroughs.

...which is fcuking sad. By this point I had 7+ playthroughs of ME2.

[edit]  Might I inquire what a "PAWG" is?  I'm assuming something-something-White Girl?

Trust me, this ending was exclusive to people who pre-ordered at the Gamestop in Antarctica. I'll probably get assassinated by the polar bears now.

The Polar Bear (Ursus Maritimus) rarely wanders as far from its habitat in the Arctic as the Antarctic. They might send some vicious e-mails though.

no, my ability to accept a Saving Private Ryan-type ending makes my opinion far more valid. it might not be your or my preferred ending but unlike you, i can accept it.

The point is that Bioware will NOT reveal whether Shepard survives the high EMS destroy ending thus I cannot accept it because I, de facto, received no closure one way or another. If they just spoke up about it I could make up my mind on my canon ending and move the **** ON!

Also, your ability to accept a certain scenario is based on your priorities and what you consider acceptable, therefore it does nit make your opinion more valid than anyone else's than in this particular situation

I am a ma'am, thank you very much.  And I never noticed Ashley possessed one of "dem a--es", but my ME3 playthrough with her alive has yet to be played so I guess I shall see eventually.  Whenever that happens.

word it however you want but your inability to accept the reality of the situation 9 months later simply invalidates your opinion

First off I accepted it, I merely find it it unpleasant, unpalatable and borderline insulting after the EC.

Secondly, not accepting something on the grounds of personal taste does not invalidate one's opinion, there are award winning writers who actually do JUAT THIS at the end of Mass Effect 3 because the ending is SO subpar. Now, even were I to complain because there is no Shepard Lives scenario AFTER bioware clarified the BS of the ambiguous and unexpanded upon breath scene my opinion would still remain because I did not buy ME3 (or 1 or 2) to vr given a lesson in nihilism at best or defeatism at worst. There are classES for that. If you liked it, KUDOS, I am.glad you did and to a degree I envy you but nothing, I repeat NOTHING can possibly make your opinion any more valid than anyone else's on the ending, to day so is simply foolish and merely points out arguing with you is entirely a waste of energy.

No wonder you guys hate the endings.

To unlock the REAL ending you must use this cheat code during the Harbinger run scene:

A, X, A, Y, left d-pad, right d-pad, right bumper, right bumber, left bumper, B, A, X, select, start button, B, A, X, Y

Trust me, this ending was exclusive to people who pre-ordered at the Gamestop in Antarctica. I'll probably get assassinated by the polar bears now.

Well friend you are safe, at least from polar bears since there are none in Antarctica.  However I doubt you will be on any penguin's xmas list so I guess you best watch your back.  They may look cute and cuddly but really they are mean vicious creatures known for their stealth attacks.

id point out that whining on BSN, 9 months later, would be a greater waste of energy but then i guess you wouldnt get to groupthink with the other 50 people on here who like to wallow in self pity.

Well, next time I run the ending I'm running with the ending mod, so it will be different for me. I just ignore that all the illogical dialogue from the ending exists.

But yeah, I haven't bothered to replay ME3 once since the ending, I just lost interest.

You want to get rid of posters who aren't satisfied with the game.  You want to silence people who disagree with you, even though they are registered game owners and thus are allowed to post on these forums.

How else am I supposed to interpret what you said?

You could have worded it a little nicer.

Looks like OP is new the the internetz

I don't know. That seems extreme, OP.

Maybe you should just try to go with the flow of the logic in the ending, kind of immersing yourself if you would.

That would just make it feel very empty.
I've actually thought about just playing ME1 for once, and then stop after i beat it. There's alot more things i hate about Mass Effect that isn't just the ending. In fact i think the ending is okay right now. It still doesn't give us the proper amount of closure, but i don't need a "happy ending" and i don't need synthesis to be properly explained. I think it's fine.

The true problem about the endings is still not the choices, but the reveal of the reapers' motive, that just come off as a "really?"

The more i visit these forums, the more frustrated i get. I think it'd be better for everyone in here to just stop posting, and then forget about ME and come back after christmas, maybe do something else than play ME for a while. Then return to it and hopefully forgive Bioware.

A choice-based RPG shouldn't force a Saving Private Ryan ending on someone who doesn't want it.

Ehh, I play it through. Maybe it's because I'm insane, but I can just write post ending fanfics that try to make the ending less retarded (in fact, I have).
