My inventor Sim was time traveling in her time machine to the future and this happened on her adventure:

Lolwut? Mass Effect 1 is older than Sims 3, and there was no celebration.

Who cares if you enjoy The Sims? It's a good game. I play Sims 2. Sims 3 any good?

I know I was wondering about that myself.  It's possible this was snuck in during the last update or expansion though.

I think the basegame is better then Sims 2.  But if you play Sims 2 for the modding community then you might not like the Sims 3 as much simply because it's harder to mod so the community isn't as big as Sims 2's was so there's less mods.

That said I can't go back to Sims 2 now that Sims 3 has enough expansions to compete with its old version.

Sims 3's version of ME3's ending is better than the actual thing.

Never got that one before :(.

There's a lot of Mass Effect references in EA games, like the Normandy toy in Battlefield 3: Close Quarters!

So... the Sims occurs in the Mass Effect universe?!

WHAT!? I missed an important memo, again.

Thats quite cool, probably a later update I would think.  EA subtly promoting their other products.

I think everyone secretly likes the Sims though.  Playing God has its appeal. ;)

That's a neat Easter Egg, but now whenever I play the Sims, I can't stop thinking that ME might be part of my sim's future.  lol

I believe you can make children? Blue children?

This gives me an idea...that includes fire. Lots of it!

Edit:   Is it possible to kill ghost children? No?

Well it atleast added with the Ambitions pack since you can only get the time machine with that expansion pack.  Unfortunately even though I got Ambitions back in 2010 I didn't try the inventor path until just now so I can't say it wasn't there before ME3 was released.

Sims 3 also refrences Dragon Age.  There's a book called "The Dragon's Age" but that's no where as cool as this Mass Effect easter egg is.

Am I the only person on this planet that still plays Sims 2? lol I traded my Sims 3 to my friend for some other games. That was before all the expansions, but the OFB expansion keeps me going back to Sims 2. Did they ever fix it where you could build your own neighborhoods, complete with businesses you can enter, etc in S3? Until then, I am sticking with my Sims 2!

Also, nice little easter egg.

I tried the inventor path numerous times and I'd never gotten that before. >.>

Also, where did you get the book?

You mean the "rabbit hole" buildings? No, they're still "rabbit holes".

But they just recently added diving boards with a patch...which should have been added a loooooong time ago. :pinched:

Nope, you're not the only one. :wizard:One try of Sims 3 was all I needed. Sims 2 sims look way better (with custom content). Sims 3 sims all had balloon faces.

Ah yes, the Dragon's Age! I believe I stole that book and have it stored in one of my safehouses somewhere :P
You can find the book in China, I've only found two or three cos they're quite rare. Try looking in the pyramids!

Weird no-ones seen it until now if it came out with ME3 or near the time.
I guess it must be new  though.
