Then you'll have to read part 5 of my articles when it comes out to be shown otherwise.

I'll do that. ^_^

I wasn't losing money, I was just bored rigid by the total randomness of the dice. Whether I progrssed or not was detirmined at random and no decision I could make could change that without a large portion of luck.

Dice rolls are supposed to be random, that's the suspense.

Whatever.  I found the jaunty music mesmerizing somehow, and it was a relaxing little diversion from monster hunting, though like so many things the consolized UI in TW2 made it slightly less fun.

Okay, so looking at my quest list, I guess I'm gonna have to go after the Kayran now.

I've dealt with the nekkers, the troll, Malena, the endrega, a bunch of other stuff, and I'm like halfway between Level 9 and 10. Dunno if I'm missing stuff, I'm thinking I should check.

Claws of Madness, Mellitele's heart ( if activated in prologue), Troll Trouble, and I assume you've talked with Loredo and played the stealth section.

I kill the Kayran early for the XP boost, because it's a largely scripted fight and your gear won't make much of a difference. He'll kill you in about 3 hits no matter what.

You did the old hospital, right? Did you talk to the Blue Stripes in their hangout?

I did do the hospital, I have NOT been to the hangout. Derp. Gonna have to check that out.

I can still do it, as I didn't realize that there was so much left to do to prepare for the Kayran. While I CAN talk to Sile right now, I just dropped off the letter from Mystic River in the royal mailbox so now I can fool around a little.

Oh yeah, you have to talk to the blue stripes and go on an adventure...of sorts. There's also the quest involving the apothacary in Flotsam selling incense. They're both quickies, and worth it.

The blue stripe event/quest caught me off guard and was awesome. Some great character development, and interaction with Ves. I, too, did the Kayran semi early, cause I figured XP would be hefty. I can also confirm that if you do the Endeagra contract and the next phase in the main quest is heading to the elven garden, Triss will help you fight at least one Queen. It was neat :). And completely unexpected. There were great quests in Flotsam.

If you time it right you can get Triss to help you with the Malena quest as well. It was hilarious to see her running to my rescue and slaying those elves with fire balls. I just sat back and watched the show.

I started to play this game now too. Maybe it's due to having little time to play lately, but I didn't find this game too exiting. It's not bad I guess, but also not one of those games you play with a bated breath. I hope it will get better with time.

I had exactly the same problem and gave up mid-way through Chapter 2 first time. The second playthrough was loads better though, so I'd say persist if you can and check out the youtube vids posted earlier in this thread which give you more of an overview on the game & world.

(Spoiler) I'm at the Kaedweni camp in Chapter 2 now and I must say that Roche's path is far more disjointed and boring than Yorveth's. No wonder I gave up on the 1st playthrough - both times i've retirevied Seltkirk's armour without even realizing that's what I'm supposed to be doing.

Roche's path feels like it's had far less time and work spent on it than Yorveth's that's for sure.

Just finished interrogating Ciaran and had that flashback of The Wild Hunt(cue the ooooooooh, thats why the third game has that title) and Yennefer.

Triss offered going with me to find the Roses of Remembrance. I actually stumbled on that area earlier, I accepted her company.

Gonna be headed there now.

Magic clothes. I want magic clothes.

Now that was an actual sex scene. Not a "this is what happens prior to" scene, this was an actual sex scene. Nice to see.

Moving on, I'm now wondering how Geralt will handle Triss and Yennefer. I'm wondering now if there's going to be a choice in the third game between these two.

Aaaand ROCHE, DEAR JESUS. You could've knocked first.

Had he done that while Triss and Geralt were doing the deed I'd of smacked him with the blunt side of my sword.

/not talking about blades

Just brought up the tattoo with Triss after the Elven Bath scene.

Felt seamless really, her whole, "I knew something was different but I couldn't quite figure it out" thing.

Still not getting it removed though. loool

If this well-placed cave's a rockin', don't come a knockin. While it's far from the pinnacle of romance , it's a vast improvement from nearly every sex scene from Dragon Age 2/Mass Effect 2 & 3(banging barring Liara).

I thought the dwarf's reaction to the "sighing" stones was really funny. xD

Thats just it- DA and ME's scenes weren't sex scenes. Thats what we all call them, but really they're just the kissing and stuff that goes on before the sex actually takes place.

TW2 actually had a real sex scene. So I was pleasantly surprised. I don't see the big deal a bunch of people made saying this game is for guys looking for nudity and stuff since I've seen hardly any nudity thus far. Just that scene and the very beginning with Geralt and Triss in bed(not counting the flashbacks of Yennefer).

He did knock. But his knock is so manly it broke down the wall.

Because people would prefer to claim it's porn rather than actually play the game.

That's exactly what I was thinking when he did it.

I wanted to tell him that knocking≠knocking DOWN the wall.
