I knew about that combination before he made that video. Its a powerful class indeed but only limited to close/ midrange combat since you are relying on flamer for most of the damage.

Players who take the time to put out vids to help others like Caine or Stardusk (Collector SMG vid - brilliant stuff) should be thanked, not openly chastised like you've done OP...

For all the XBOX and PC Gold PUGs I've played in the past week, the GT hasn't made an appearance once. In many respects OP, it sounds like you're having a bad run with PUGs utilising the GT, but still not sure how it's Caine's fault?

At this point ANYTHING besides an Infiltrator you should be happy to see. The best classes are always going to be seen a bit more often... oddly enough I dont run into Geth Troopers that often, its still pretty much the usual TGI or GI + Harrier, and I highly doubt that'll change soon.

I've seen a couple of dudes with this combo, both were horrible at it. Caineghis2500 made it look easy, but it's not an "I win combo". Ghost + Harrier is still easier IMHO.

Maybe because my characters fight Reapers and only reapers from bronze to gold?

Harder to rush spawns with 2 Banshees, 3 Brutes, 2 Ravengers and xxx marauders constantly.....i guess?

It's nice to have a relaxed match once in a while, and it helps that I love Flamer (the very first challenge completion I got was for Flamer). It's not like it's astrophysics to figure out armour melting power needs a shield/barrier stripping weapon.

There is no instant win combo. Some just easier and better than others

Easy to use classes will be popular regardless of whoever makes a video about it, I guarantee that less than 1% of the playerbase has seen said video. Its not hard for peopl to figure out what works well and to use it - hence lot of turian ghost.

It's only a small fraction of the playerbase that even looks on BSN, let alone knows who Caineghis is, and an even smaller portion who've actually watched that video.
