These threads are funny, but in all seriousness that damn Geth Trooper is getting all this attention drawn to flamer while the vorcha classes have been using flamer since end of May (over 6 months now).

Flamer = good against armor/health
Acolyte = good against shields and barriers

People didn't need anyone to tell them it was a winning combination.

I never even mentioned a nerf...

I love the flamer on the vorcha and am slightly PO'ed that everyone is suddenly drooling over the ability just because the GT has it. A nerf would only kill the vorcha and slightly injure the GT (I use him without flamer so it would make no difference to me)

Besides without a dedicated shield stripping weapon flamer is nowhere near OP

What's extra ironic is that the Flamer on the Vorcha Sentinel is way better than on the Trooper because Cluster Grenades.

This isn't the place to do it nor is that the way to do it. If you're that pretentious and desperate to correct how someone spells something, send them a private message stating their error, don't do it in public. It isn't necessary.

1 calling out any player is bs you deserve a ban OP
2 I figured that out within 3 games of using him and I am sure most anyone with half a brain can figure out that all he needed was an acolylte.
3 Its not cheating so if you don't like it leave lobby. I hate Volus so I leave gold plat lobbies with them you you do the same with the GT OP

Am I missing something? I haven't seen a single Geth Trooper at all. Not in video, game, nor have I obtained one myself. I rarely play anything but Gold, even with my level 1 Adept, and I have yet to ever see a Geth Trooper.


As for the Acolyte[?] I have seen that, but not often at all. Maybe once every 2-3 games? No idea if that combination you're speaking of is on a specific platform of what, but I have yet to see it.

So I'm going to have to say no, the person has not ruined Gold/Platinum.

This is stupid because either OP is butt hurt about something or just wants the attention. Maybe it is that guy who claimed the AJ is OP. Sounds dumb enough. I use that build sometimes, it is fun. But like was said in his vid. You gotta pay attention to your surroundings. I found it easier against all the factions, Collectors are a bit more difficult with that build, but still manageable. OP, stop calling out other players. It is rude and childish.

Oh no, they definately still are. And they're still somehow scoring 30k in an U/U/P (Hydra Collectors) game and managing to be absolutely f*cking useless. Saddest thing is that he wasn't even leeching. (We did wipe after wave 10 objective though.)

exactly. we all knew before it was released that this character would be great. i mean if we learned anyhting the geth in general are OP (as enemies and as playable characters)

The point being is most people are not createive and in general suck so they take the most OP layouts into every game. all i see are the same 3 basic layouts from randoms TGI+Harrier, GI+Pirhanna, GT+Acolyte

I don't see this in Gold or even Plat PUGs on PC. I see a lot more variety.
