Just a frivolous question: wondering if any players out there who play the city elf origin keep their wedding clothes and ring with them as a memento till the end like I do. I would not sell or dump them and would keep them in my inventory till I get the chest at  Warden's Keep.

I played as a female city elf and her betrothed was murdered for her sake, so the wedding ring that was found on him was kept as a remonder of his sacrifice.

Anyone else shares my sentiments?

No those ones specifically. I try to NOT horde a lot of items, but as a Human Noble, my father's sword and shield are kept in the chest at Soldier's Peak with a handful of other items.

I do indeed. My human noble never could bring herself to sell or give away the family sword and shield, even though she was an archery specialist and knew just a little about DW and nothing at all about sword and shield fighting. :)

Ninja'd by Ryngard, rassafrackin' consarn it!!!

I sold them the first chance.. my city elf was never interested in getting married against her will..more so as her eyes were not exactly caught by males...now certain redheaded Orlesian bards, and things to steal on the other hand....

though my human noble did keep the sword and shield... infact I made sure to put StarFang away  and equip the family sword just to kill Howe.

My elf didn't really want to get married, so she sold her wedding clothes.  She's kept the ring so far.

My female elf rogue treated the ring as a bond to her origin. She did not only kept the ring all the time but has worn it until the fight against the archdemon.

But she sold her wedding clothes early as they were dirty and full of (human) blood stains.

I don´t keep the cloth, because it doesn´t look good, but I keep the ring. I even wore it up to level 12 or so, when I got "Key to the city" and "Lifegiver" in Orzammar.

Oh, my second female city elf will be romancing Leliana too. When the time comes when she is ready to ask my elf to join her in her bed, I'll put the wedding clothes on her :P

My city elf didn't want to get married either, but she is keeping them both. The fiancee died trying to save her, and that means something.

My city elf couldn't get rid of her wedding clothes fast enough. She hated being forced into marriage with that guy...

My city elf kept the wedding clothes and ring for the whole game too. They reminded her of Nelaros, who she actually did want to marry.  (If you examine the ring, you can see he made it himself.)  It also kept her from forgetting the suffering of her people (even though, as a Grey Warden, she had to fight for everyone, not just elves). Nice to know I'm not alone in doing this!

My city elf also kept her wedding dress and Nelaros' ring. She wore the dress to the Landsmeet. If you play her as someone eager to get married, that can be a very rage filled origin.

As a Dwarven Noble I kept the Shield of Aeducan with me at all times, just because it reminded me of my father and better times.

In all of my origins I kept my original stuff in the party chest when it was no longer the most useful items to wear. I'm sentimental, even when I'm playing a jerkinator. ;)

My Girlbrush wore the ring to the bitter end, even when travelling with Alistair after everything was said and done. The clothes however, were sold first possibility.

What is a Jerkinator? And here I thought my English was pretty good. It sounds really funny spoken out loud. At least to my non-english ears.

Oh, LOL - like the Terminator, but with jerk in front ... jerk being an unnecessarily mean/rude person - it's what I call my "evil" characters as they aren't really doing evil things so much as just being mean to people.

I never even changed out of my wedding clothes and kept the wedding ring on throughout the entire game!

I kept the dress and ring. Alistiar though, behind the scenes keeps bugging Evellyn to let him try it on. To air it out he claims....

During that fight I put my party on hold, and even though I was a double dagger whirlwind machine I put the family shield on one arm and used the family sword to kill Howe - it took longer that way, but anything worth doing is worth doing right!

Rofl. Thanks. I shall shamelessly steal that and use it on my friends. Then I will commence laughing myself silly seeing their utterly confused faces. :D

Been tempted to put my city elf female's wedding outfit and ring on Alistair because he isn't ever going to be in her party. She don't trust human males much, although the softie is probably going to survive namely because she is of the belief in woman power and thus will want to allow Morrigan to have what she wants (If Anora wanted Alistair dead after being made Queen and Loghain killed, things would possibly be different though haha)

Don't think I kept the Cousland stuff with my original human noble but I am doing with the remainder as they are going to get upgraded thanks to the winter forge mod and Howe is going to find out what it is like to have the Highever Shield slammed into his face several times when Ulrich meets him. My human noble rogues will keep the shield for sentimental value and in some cases same for the sword if they aren't using it.

I think as for the other origins it really depends on the character.
