Especially when you can have hundreds of hours with replays in ME3 while still having diferent outcomes.

Super Mario Bros 3 can be beaten in under 4 hours. And it's a far better game than ME3. So yea, it is pretty bad reasoning.

I gave my vote to Max Payne 3 because it had a phenomenal character study. Its plot was kind of so-so but it managed to give a vivid portrayal of Max Payne. It is a game misunderstood. (It's not that difficult if you actually do run and gun instead of ducking behind covers.)

The ending to Mass Effect 3 pretty much ruined it for me. Wasn't a big fan of the gameplay in the first place and the story didn't quite work out for me. Liked the Garrus romance but that's pretty much it. Just a matter of opinion.

Wouldn't mind that much if ME3 wins GOTY in the end. There really aren't too many contenders for the throne. Borderlands 2 maybe?

You can't even compare these two games. They are not in the same category. If you know what i mean?
Mass Effect is sci-fi and Max Payne is action/shooter based game.

But of course this is my opinion

A few predictions.

Mass Effect 3 will beat Max Payne 3, for popularity reasons. MP3 was a fun game, but ME3 has greater depth and a bigger fanbase.

ME3 will then meet XCOM, and will probably win.

And then we come to the semi-finals. Judging from the bracket list, it will meet Assassin's Creed III. That will be a tough fight.

If ME3 makes it to the final, it will meet either Halo 4 or Far Cry 3.

Whatever happens, it will be fun to watch.

Except you saying Mass Effect is better than Dishonoured is totally your opinion, no matter how objectively you think you're looking at it.

Sure, it's a newer franchise, but what does that prove? ME3 was worse than it's predecessors. While that may be subjective, Resident Evil 6's overall reception isn't. And that franchise has been around much longer than Mass Effect.

I hate these versus category, it's always the wackest selection of games facing off each other. Anyway, I enjoyed MP3 immensely, compared to ME3. But I won't vote for either.

This round's boring as hell, the winners were all known after like 3 hours. Next round should be much more interesting with Halo vs Borderlands

Yeah, I think it's pretty clear cut, upto the semi-finals, except from Halo 4 and Borederlands. I really have no idea who would win between ME3 and AC3, or Halo 4/ Borderlands 2 and Far Cry 3.
