I am hosting a nwn2 server for direct connect among myself and friends; I have the settings very liberal, I have enabled local char as well as allowed non-legal chars. Level range is 1-30. I have even copied a version of my character into the multiplayer file in documents under chars and can load the module of my character at full level with full equipment to pick up where I left off.
However, if I try to start a new module with a local char, say my level 8 paladin in the vanilla NWN2 campaign module, to play with friends, when I try to join the server it "finds" my paladin (correct name, race, class etc.) but he is level 1 and gearless. If I try to load the module based off character data it loads up with him at full level/gear. Just won't let me start a new module with gear/level/skills intact. What am I doing wrong?
Local Char set to level 1 on multiplayer?
