Title says it all.

It needs to have its spread reduced significantly, perhaps by as much as 70% - 90% to bring it back as the weapon I remember using in ME2.

While I do have a Harrier X to play with, I still miss the feel and sound this gun and would like to see it be a viable gun to use in lieu of the URs.

Signed. Maybe not as much as 90%, but 50% at least dammit.

Increased weight, Increased damage, Decreased recoil, and That's about all it need's. It's supposed to be a light machine gun, It end's up being lighter then most AR's.

in ME2 it was very inacurate, so buffing that wouldn´t make it how it was before, but I would suggest a clip size buff (from 60 to 80)

Nah, the recoil is fine. The problem is the spread. And the fact that it slows you down while you're firing. So:

- Normal movement speed while being fired.
- Less spread.

In ME2 with one mod for the AR's it turned into a Long range buzz saw.

Well If teh damaged Upped, i would be fine with the speed down simply because the kick of it SHOULD slow ya down.

If it has roughly the same accuracy as the Typhoon it would be good. The Typhoon has a spray as well but it is much more manageable on characters that cannot boost accuracy.

The spread is a lot worse than the recoil. Recoil is fine, in my opinion. Spread is not.

Yeah, it was quite better in ME2.
Didn't spread as much.
I actually liked it in ME2.

Just make the gun how it was in ME2. Huge spread with a ton of firepower.

This.

Besides, recoil can actually be controlled with stability mods, consumables, gear, and 5 characters have bonuses for it in their passive. Spread is a lot trickier. I tried every possible way to make the Revenant accurate, all at once (including the scope), and even then the weapon was not reliable at long distances, or for getting headshots. The spread is just brutal.

Accuracy Buff, Damage Buff, Clip Size Buff.

This weapon should be a bit lighter than the Typhoon, but not quite as powerful or accurate. But this weapon does need a severe buff.

However, the Revenant does actually have a pretty respectable DPS, especially compared to other ARs. The thing just can't damned well hit anything unless you are in cover, using Marksman... and its clip should be 80 to justify the crappy reload time.

LMG's, plain and simply, need to be remodelled in this game. Hopefully in ME4 MP, there is a specific LMG classification.

Indeed, its the spead that they put into the weapon that kinda trashed it. In ME2 it had recoil but spread was rather tight, I have to replay ME2 but if memory serves, it was as tight as the Typhoon, if not better and the way I managed the recoil was to fire in bursts.

ME3 had lessened the recoil some but introduced bullet spead over a much larger area so even if you tap single shots out, your bullets will never hit your point of aim.

You can test this easily.

I just would like to see this spread toned down a significant degree. Recoil can be countered with Marksmanship / Stability mods / Devastator Mode but spread is always there and on the revenant, unnecessarily crippling on an otherwise superb gun.

Just introduce an accuracy consumable, like a there is a stability one.

It should just do a bit more damage, given its accuracy.

God's no man!
Do you really want another "rare" consumable to take up your rare / ultra rare slot from supply packs?

Also, such a consumable would be worthless on many other weapons.
