Holy ****, if that is not one of the hardest moral dilemmas I had ever seen I dont know what is.

This entire season has been building Debrah up for this. I loved it, seeing Debrah break down to her core finally and watching her character snap... I cant wait to see how next season picks it up.

Top notch season as far as I concerned.

Yeah i was pretty shocked when Deb pulled the trigger on LaGuerta.....i mean i really liked her character, but i guess given the circumstances she had to go. It's going to be interesting to see what happens next season though.

This is the first season of Dexter since season 2 that i think was actually any good. It felt like everything in between season 2 and season 7 was needless filler, and FINALLY they've resumed the story. I can honestly say after the season finale of season 7, i'm genuinely excited for season 8. And i haven't felt that way for a long time.

I wouldnt qualify season 4 as needless filler, but otherwise the show had become a bit too comfortable with itself after season 2 (maybe because Doakes was gone?) But I know what you mean, its nice to see them breaking away from the regular routine.

I really disliked Laguerta but I still sympathized with her and I would not say she deserved to die. But Debrah was inbetween a rock and a hard place and something had to snap and unfortunately Laguerta payed the price.
