The harrier seems like BSN's crown jewel.

Anytime somebody uses the word nerf followed by the word Harrier, they get flamed for about 15 pages.
Though suggesting anything be nerfed will probably get you at least a couple of pages of flames, unless you're being painfully obvious that you're being sarcastic(even then you'll still get a couple).

It has some of the highest damage output in the game with the weakness being much less of a weakness than the other guns in that damage range(Typhoon, PPR, Hurricane, Piranha, Reegar).

I suppose people like it because it combinates extremely high damage with such an easy use that my cat could solo bronze with it.

One gold solo each against Cerberus convinced me that despite Harrier doing superior damage, I clear waves faster with Destroyer. Constant trips to ammo boxes DO make the difference. It does kill an atlas faster but if there is another one right next to it, I have to either interrupt fantastic killing spree and go to ammo box or constantly use ammo consumable.

It's also fairly low risk for very high reward. Of the other guns I mentioned:
Typhoon/PPR - Requires sustained fire with ramp up times. Going to be high risk unless you know how to use right hand advantage properly(average pug doesn't know about this)
Reegar/Piranha/Hurricane - Bad spread or limited range means you need to get closer unless you have an accuracy boosting class for the Piranha/Hurricane. CQC tends to bring higher risk unless you're skilled enough to not get killed constantly.
The Krysae pre-nerf suffered the same problem as the Harrier does now, only it was lower risk for even higher reward since it staggered and was AoE.

Just leave it alone. Balanced weapon is balanced.
This ^
HIgh ROF and DPS balanced by relatively high weight and tiny clip.
All the weapons have a ying and yang as it should be.
