No they point blank say without the information this cycle passed down, they too would be threatened, and that they didn't have to fight a terrible war because of it.

No, as you can see by what you wrote that only implies they found a beacon.
They think they are safe and alone, they are not.

Little do they know the citadel awaits them.

The beacon told them everything they needed to know about this cycle and the Reapers. They are talking in past tense, after they found the beacon, about not being threatened anymore because of that information. If the Reapers still existed they would be threatened, finding the beacon would not eliminate that threat, but they're not, that's why they're talking in past tense.

What you're saying makes no sense to what is said.

I never said the Reapers still existed.
If I never said something it is not possible for it make sense or no sense.
It simply never happened.

I'm not arguing anything...
I'm flat out stating it...

Refuse is a victory in the literal interpretation...
I quite honestly have no interest in debating you if you don't understand why...
Because quite frankly it's clear from your posts that you'll never understand the concept of a moral victory...

This only proves that insufficiently advanced synthetics will be destroyed. It's got nothing much to do with the Catalyst's proposition, which has never actually been tested.

The next cycle win without war, implying they used some sort of superweapon, most likely the Crucible as it's the most advanced one in history and is sitting there ready to be built.

I played as if I was shepard. I never thought about which option to say, I made a choice on the spot like Shep would have to. For me it resulted in a lot of good.

Peace on Rannoch, cured genophage, Ashley loved me, Wrex and Eve lived

But bad as well.

Jack,Samara, Kasumi all died.

In the end, I betrayed the Geth for destroy. Wish I could say I was willing to fight for true freedom, but irl, I would obliterate them all (and at the time Ithought myself) to kill the reapers, and I would pray they have a good name in our history.

Yes really a victory...
The fact that you can't comprehend why it's a victory doesn't make it any less of one...

Pretty sure "I'm not going to counter your argument because you can't comprehend mine" is one of the worst replies possible.

It's a victory in the sense that becaues of Shepard's actions, the next cycle was able to win and I believe conventionally, correct?  If you disagree, that's fine, not saying you're wrong, but I think I understand why some would believe it to be, even though Shepard's time doesn't last.

A.Fear them and want to destroy every last one of them.
B.Feel that as our creators,we should control them.

Quarians were almost wiped out because they feared the Geth and tried to destroy them.If the Quarians let the Geth advance to the point where they can make independent decisions then the Geth would rebel because they wouldn't like to be slaves.

As in my previous post.....

And yet the Geth can wipe out the Quarians in ME3.The synthetics Leviathan's thralls created wiped out the "lesser races".Synthetics can wipe out organics and organics can wipe out synthetics. The Zha'til and Geth aren't good examples of what the Catalyst meant. He meant that synthetics wouldadvance beyond their creators control and rebel against them eventually wiping them out.

"The fact that you are standing here is proof that my solution won't work anymore."

"So what do we do?"

"We find a new solution." --- the "we" means I find a new solution. There is no discussion. There is no "we" involved. Unless "we" means "we the reapers find a new solution" which means a solution which meets the reapers agenda. This means you, Shepard, do not factor into this equation at all except to make a choice as to which of the reaper solutions you want to inflict on your galaxy.

Who designed the Crucible? -- "you would not know them and there is little time." Why is there little time? If his fleet is so invincible why is he in so much of a hurry? (psst: Mac wants you to feel urgency.) Honest response from one of the reapers: ("Our top scientist about 200 cycles ago was indoctrinated and came up with the design.") -- Shepard can't hear it because of the vacuum in space.

So Glowboy's buddies give you three choices, and all three of them are bad. All three of them serve their purpose. Destroy in March reset technology, because tech was evil. Plus you get the added bonus of killing 10 billion Geth (estimated) But the cycles would start again eventually for some unknown reason. I guess now we know why because the Leviathans would return and rebuild Glowboy to find the solution since they're stupid cuttlefish. Control left the reapers around controlled by the god emperor so-called benevolent dictator or Stalin. Synthesis left the reapers around and the husk head in your former cabin becomes sentient.

But refuse? It's not his choice. He knows his solution isn't going to work anymore. And he continues it anyway.

The EC is not the ending we wanted. This is just messed.

Refuse is the unknown.

It's a fundamentally racist hypothesis by the Catalyst...
Particularly disturbing since the existence of synthetic people is a distinct possibility in the future, and if they come to pass, they will likely face discrimination IRL...

They win without fighting a terrible war.

Some people seem to think this was only said on Twitter, which makes me wonder if they actually chose refuse.

Refuse

Yes, she says that, but also about the information, so either the crucible, or whatever else Liara put in the beacon, so in a sense, that equals victory.

At no point is this stated in game. All we know for certain is that we sent out a warning, one which specifically stated that the Crucible didn't work. You can interperate that how you like, I for example see this as a hint that they prepared themselves better for the coming conflict and created their own weapon to combat the Reapers since the Crucible failed. The only person who explicidly stated that the crucible was used was Mike Gamble over twitter, hence twitter canon.

Edited.

It is not an in game canon. It is the twitter canon. I just watched the refuse ending on Youtube. It doesn't mention that they used the crucible. Stargazer scene. "They fought a terrible war so we wouldn't have to." They found the archives early on in their cycle.

It does look like an Asari. It does sound like they gave the Reapers hell, and that the reaping wasn't so complete. It does look like the reapers beat it out of the galaxy to hibernate before they were finished.
