Triggering a conversation right after an event

Hi!

Okay, I'm able to trigger a convo after an area load (with BeginConversation), but I also want to know how to trigger it right after an event.

For example, right after you kill Howe and the cutscene is shown, the NPC should start the convo right then and there.

Is this possible?

In this particular example, call BeginConversation from denpt_rescue_the_queen script, right after the LoadCutscene call under DEN_RESCUE_HOWE_TEAM_DEAD.

Or, change the mentioned LoadCutscene call to something like this:

CS_LoadCutscene(CUTSCENE_DEN_HOWES_DEATH, YOUR_PLOT, YOUR_PLOT_FLAG, YOUR_NPC);

where the line in the NPC's conversation would be conditioned by YOUR_PLOT_FLAG.

I didn't try this out, so no warranties expressed or implied. :)

In general, you'd add a BeginConversation call to the event handler for the event after which you want your conversation to happen. If it's a death of some creature, that could be the EVENT_TYPE_DEATH in the creature script.

Well, I'd like to make my mod compatible with any other mod so I don't really want to modify or override existing scripts, but add my own...
