I don't want another character with Hunter Mode. It hurts my eyes and makes my xbox crash more than any other power.

OP didn't say anything about Hunter Mode. Don't know where you pulled this out from.

Pattern recognition, I guess.  Every vorcha has Bloodlust, every krogan has Rage, every geth has Hunter Mode, every quarian male has that scan power.  I know that the mold has been broken before.  Asari, for instance, no longer all possess Stasis.  But history points towards more geth receiving Hunter Mode.

Other than that, biotic geth = tacky.  But that's not a real reason.

They could learn at lightning speed, that's not an issue, but constructing and testing new kinds platforms and getting enough eezo to power them still takes some time. So, it's more a matter of practicality - is it better to use materials and eezo to build ships and platforms that already proved their worth in combat, or put some aside for experimentation?

Speaking of patterns, we'll soon get our first batarian without Blade Armor and first non-biotic drell.

I could care less. I'm just sick of people making pointless threads about it.

In the ME2 though Shepard found a fair amount of eezo 'just kind of lying around' in places. It wouldn't even have to be a lot of eezo to experiment with really. And the Geth have plenty of resources piled up and units, there's no reason there couldn't be even just one lab researching/testing.

So we basically got down to the so-called "Watsonian" question - whether the geth in-universe really felt the necessity and urgency to learn biotics. They may have, or they may have not. The game doesn't give us a clear answer because we don't ever see any geth after Rannoch in SP.
Perhaps someone from the writing team can clarify this once and for all?

Because Geth just aren't into arcane space magic, dude. It's not their thing. They are too busy networking the **** out of everything, creeping on people with their wallhacks, and being all scientifical about studying the **** out of everything.

Because people that get upset about lore don't usually know anything about it in the first place.

Because its stupid.

That simple for me.

It's like saying droids can use the force and become a Jedi.

If metaclorians could be gathered and activated using false nerve signals generated by specifically made generators, than yes it's the same thing.

Bitoics aren't just magically and randomly given biotic power, you have to be exposed to eezo in the womb to develop it. It's effect is explained as electrical signals causing specific energy reactions from the eezo to create a mass effect feild that creates a specific result.

If a ship can do it all the time, why can't a geth? Back in ME1 we all probably would have said a geth couldn't talk or interact with humans, than ME2 comes around and now talking geth are an accepted fact.

From the, um, lore point of view - if geth haven't developed any substitutes for biotic powers in 300 years despite having all necessary information, they probably just didn't feel the need.

This guy's got it; it's not that Geth haven't got the capability; It's that we've never seen any sort of Geth biotic in three games worth of lore. I'm not saying Shepard fought every Geth that ever existed, but it's very unlikely that we'll see one if Shep hasn't heard about one. Not if MP's connection to SP holds up. Besides, way I see it, Geth are to Tech what Asari are to Biotics.

It's just not what the Geth are interested i-...Did you really just ask for female Geth...? No. Just no. That's like asking for a male Asari.

A ship can utilise eezo and a mass effect field to travel at FTL speed and through relays. That's it. They aren't capable of using them to create biotic effects.

EDI can't use her giant drive core to create biotics with the Normandy, why would a geth be capable of doing it?

I would imagine because they are capable of sending more complex signals through their power systems into a built in eezo storage system. I would imagine it could easily be explained as shock trooper platforms the reapers were studying and didn't finish when the geth were released. They finished it, and are now using it against the reapers.

Of course, I like thinking of what if scenarios like this, it's a nice pasttime for me. I would assume they would only be capable of either very basic and simpl biotic displays, or very specific effects. For instance, I could see a geth using either barrier or biotic bubble, or maybe throw or pull. They would never be able to pull off advanced biotics, but small ones would be easy enough to duplicate.

I personally don't care for Eezo manipulating Geth; it's not because of lore. (I don't care about lore.)
I just prefer weapons to space magic.

I do fully support this though; I'm certain the Geth can do this if they haven't already done so. I'm bias though; the Geth are my favorite race.
