Being a writer somehow makes your opinion of the ending more valid?

It certainly doesn't hurt its validity.

True, but didn't he also say that the ending wasn't ambiguous because after destroy it could be Shepards Dying Breathe or a sign of life?

I never read twitter so I have no idea which writer Jade is refferencing here

The demand is still there... If anything that's a sign of hope. Heck, one of the people tweeting there is a writer herself. And she's calling it a terrible ending lol.....

Oh and btw, while Chris Priestly would probably know what's going on inside BioWare offices, do you *really* think he's going to post crap that would give anything away? He wouldn't be good at his job if he couldn't hide the truth.

The only way to know for sure, is once the dlc cycle is finished. Only then will we know for certain.

could you provide a link for that tweet jade?=)

She's talking about Melinda Snodgrass, whose tweet is in that link right there. Ms. Snodgrass is the writer of an award-winning Star Trek: The Next Generation episode about Data and the concept of 'humanity', among other things.

Thanks. Please hurry. An asari has my face.

Image IPB

WHAT IS IT with the asari in ME1? Grabbyhands everywhere.

Anyway. In one way or another, I hope the next DLC will be good for Shepard. I doubt we'll be touching the end again, but still... Maybe some character time.

You've been told a million times we won't get any more ending related DLC. Get over it and move on. This is a waste of internet space.

I hope not. I want to play as Shepard in ME3. Not some companion or new character.

Post ending stories is what Mass Effect 4 is for.

Shepard has a promise to keep. To find Miranda! I think it would be a nice twist if Miranda found Shepard first. :)

I see I am not alone in the fight to save Shepard. Remember people keep pushing but more importantly keep saying you will spend money on it.

Come on, deep down in your hearts you know full well that it's not going to happen, people wanted hub worlds, new perm squadmates, harbinger, boss's etc etc with Leviathan/Omega yet got let down........this will be no different so i wont be buying it like i didnt the previous dlc...they are done with shepard and blatantly told us to buy more dlc to further the legend...............they forgot to mention it was furthering it pre-ending.

When Casey asked if fans wanted a prequel for the next Mass Effect, I got the impression that a prequel is inevitable no matter how many fans say no to it. Its just the easy thing to do. Unfortunate because I think there is so much potential for post Earth DLC.

Thats how it works really. They see what  fans want and do the exact oposite.

I hope - I really do - they release a brief, poorly made, cutscene-heavy 50 $ DLC where Liara & Co. stumble into Shepard among the ruins just to see how many fans are so obsessed - and unable to let go a fictional character whose story is OVER - to actually buy it.

So everybody wins: fans stop complaining and get their extra amount of cheese, Bio gets easy bucks, and I can have a good laugh.

We should totally show interest in only the endings. Whenever Bioware wants to talk about something, anything, we should always say, what about the ME3 endings. That'll get em'

It won't work for us, but it will make them realize that anything they do will be ignored until we get ending content.

I would love it if they did a press release for something or another, and everyone was like "does this change the ending" and they'd be like no, and then everyone would either start booing or leaving.

That's the key. Don't show interest in any content but the ending. Then they'll be like, 'we're sticking to our art' and we'd be like 'that's cool, but we don't care about any more crap until you give us a real ending.'

And we've told Bioware a million time that we very much want an ending fix DLC. MEHEM has the potential to be a gamechanger in that it shows the demand is there. That and lackluster sales of DLC may change their minds. A fool's hope, perhaps, but what's that saying? "The night is darkest before the dawn." THIS is the real-world version of the Refuse ending. Maybe we'll win, maybe we won't. But when it's finally over, we won't have lost because we didn't try. And there is still the possibility of dawn.

He will do it and I am sure since it is almost guarenteed not to sell a lot since it is a prequel and the majority don't want it that EA would say go ahead make something that will cost a lot and not make much profit. It makes sense didn't you know.

What some people advocate (Shep rescued) is not necessarily a battle for a better ending - I mean, for you it is, but for others it wouldn't change what's fundamentally wrong with ME3 last act - it would still be absurd, except "cheesy and happy" absurd.

For me it's like claiming that the ending to Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes remake would be fine if only there was a last shot of Mark Wahlberg smiling and laughing and buying an ice cream from a shop.

Well we know others at BW don't like the ending (Patrick Weekes, my hero). But they still have to much of an ego for their art.

The implementation was bad, and we also all know EA's rather strict timetable had to do with the game being unpolished and rushed.
