Who of you completed at least 100 waves on Platinum on every map?

Today I scrolled through the Leaderboards (PC and PS3) and did not find one single player who managed to complete 100 waves on Platinum on every map (excluding the Hazard-Maps) since the challenge-system was implemented. That would be at least 1.300 waves in total.

Is there anyone? Maybe on PS3?

I imagine if Map Mastery was retroactive, I might have by now. As it stands, I don't play Plat too often since I was able to start playing again last month. Some days I don't feel up to it or don't want to deal with the anger of BSNer teammates if I screw something up.

Rehabilitation has shattered me in more ways than just physically, so some days I just am not mentally up to playing on higher difficulties. Too much stress.

I'll get there eventually. Some maps hardly ever come up when I play UUP though. I rarely seem to get Dagger or Hydra or Jade for example.

Me ...but I guess that's not much of a surprise since most of what I play is platinum (except this week I have been playing with pugs). How can you tell though? My challenges banner just updated yesterday as I finished the map mastery so I do not see really anything filled out.

Look at Platinum waves on map mastery. Each time you've done a 100 waves on one map, it'll updated the times completed number.

Although the bar resets, beneath it has the number of times completed. So that is a sign if you have actually done 100 waves or not.

Well according to your manifest, you made at least 100 waves on

Ghost
White
Giant
Glacier
Jade
Goddess

But not on

Dagger
Reactor
Condor
Hydra
Rio
Vancouver
London

The playerbase on Platinum must be very tiny. I'm very happy to have a wife and some friends which are able to play  Platinum. There is almost no way to get decent randoms when we are less than 4.

Gold is more fun than the boss killing tedium of plat.

Multi faction enemies on gold would be interesting.

Im still trying to figure out how Platinum is tedious when à group of friends and i go through it in 15-20 minutes on average...

Gold with good players isnt even worth the time...

I haven't done 100 waves of Platinum on ANY of the maps. Closest is Dagger. Never even apparently played Reactor. I do U/U/P from time to time, but not often.

Tedious or not, I just prefer U/U/G. My builds often involve some degree of specialty in mook slayage, and I don't want to redo all of them and rethink my playstyle based on an attempt to play a difficulty that I don't enjoy as much. I also think the classes and weapons are ridiculously, insanely, brutally unbalanced for Platinum while they're all actually comparable on Gold.

Most (if not all) of the top players already have their manifest maxed out (or pretty close) and thus see no reason to play platinum, which is not nearly as fun as gold.

I personally only play platinum nowadays when invited by a friend.

I've done 100+ on Glacier. Whenever we do set a map, it tends to be Glacier because its the fastest. 90-odd on Giant too, because its easy.

I like Plat, personally.

I find platinum with friends fun. Some people don't and that cool. You just shouldn't judge it based on your experience with PUGs.

When I play with friends it usually ends up gold, and I'm not going to make pug platinum a regular occurrence.

The only one that is close is Glacier with 82 waves done.

I only run platinum with friends and it's usually a set map/enemy... so that doesn't help.

I would at least be a little closer if it weren't because there is no one playing plat. in my timezone. Some times I hate to live in my most awesome country. :P There are just bad Russains, no offence, playing that don't speak english when I play. I Whise there where some other swedes that still played this game.

Honestly I think all of my experiences with PUGs in platinum have been bad ones.

I've played more Platinum games prior to the challenge system update, and god knows I hardly touch it now. It's not that fun and I'm only willing to play it if I'm in the mood and if I'm in a solid group. Gold can be a pain if a couple of teammates keep botching up. Platinum would be rage inducing, in this case.

There was a bigger incentive to play Platinum before I got the Operative banner but since I obtained that by other means, I'm going to have to find some other incentive....like a 5 year old rationalizing vegetables over dessert.

For the flak I get for sometimes pointing out the absurdity of others' input:

I keep striking gold, coming across remarks like this.

Have you played with megabeast and a couple of other similar skilled players? There just isn't enough to kill on Gold when you have four good players at times.

Difficult when you don't host thus can't dictate the map, don't play preform games (only with randoms) and on PC at least, 90% of the lobbies are Rio.
