Nothing aggitates more then buying $14 worth of expansion for 1 hour worth of playing time and a treasure chest, and a new character which I felt was somewhat unfair.
Bravo.
In any case I also had another question. On your latest announcement of the new DVD being released is there any way to pick up where you left off on the counsol or PC. For example I finished the game on XBOX, can I purchase the PC version to pickup where I left off? I feel I'm missing out on the graphics and experience offered by PC.
Keep up the good work!

I would suggest just laying off the game for a bit (if you can)

Hell, ten months down the road, you pick up the PC version, I guarantee the game will feel fresh!
And I fully agree with the applause. I can't wait to play the DLC, but I'd rather it be as bug free and smooth as possible!

14$ ?
Warden's keep was 7$ and the Stone Prisoner is free with the game. Are you in the US?
I wonder how hard it would be to be able to port your saved games and character to pc. To my knowledge there has never been a game that did that. Do you think Microsoft would allow it? I mean it's promoting playing on a different platform than the X-box. Gamemakers would love it no? They get to sell 2 copies of their game that way.

As for the DLC and money, my biggest gripe was the treasure chest in Wardens Keep for various reasons.
1) I didn't buy it because I wanted to, it basically forced me to purchase a treasure chest to store my inventory (absolutely required if you intend on making potions/poulaces etc) and I felt it was a dirty way to force a purchase since storage is an absolute must in RPG's.
2) I probably would have bought Warden Keep anyway because I love the game but having to walk to soldiers peak all the time for a chest is/was quite a nag! Also, I was a little perterved to see a third party chest developed that spawned in camp for the PC version which would have been appropriate in the console version.
IMHO I think they are doing the right thing releasing a full DVD worth of goodness! Can't wait!
Last comment.... I ended with the ultimate sacrafice. Do I need to finish otherwise in order to keep my character alive? Must say it would suck to see my death in vein. Bloody darkspawn!

No way your gonna transfer x-box data to the PC. Now, I'm guessing the expansion won't be out for a long time, we're talking end of 2010 and even 2011. You have plenty of time to purchase the PC version and give the game another play through in preparation for the expansion.

The Expansion is out on march 16th my good man.

What are you talking about? Bioware has already said the expansion was being released in March in their very first announcement regarding it

But I agree with you that having to go to Solider's peak just to open up your chest is a pain in the ass.

Well Bioware already has my data and has the ability to pull the data to thier servers so I don't see why it wouldn't be possible. Storyline, character picture, profile etc are already here. That and I have my guy exactly how I like him... I suppose I could tweak him a bit better but I must say it was quite gratifying being able to go toe to toe with the Archdemon and laugh at it the whole time!
They probably don't have the entirety of your data at all. All they have are what achievements are unlocked (which are probably unlocked using flags), a few screenshots, and a bit of data that is probably recorded in a spreadsheet. There's nothing indicating that they have the entire save stored, which is understandable since with the method they're doing it right now they need to store a considerably smaller smaller amount of data per player.

He mentioned third-party storage chests in the very next point, which you obviously didn't read

Also, if I didn't store my potions and misc good items I would always end up re-treading the same ground I went through 2 or 3 times in order to pickup all the inventory / sell it and then purchase some bigtime items/goodies due to lack of backpack space.
I can't recall an RPG I didn't play in recent days that didn't have a storage of some sort... don't even get me started with Oblivion... great for that! IMHO It is also nice to store and try out different combinations of armor and weapons to see the effects on your characters. I must have tried at leat 5 different armor sets, various weapons etc. That is part of the RPG experience, blowing all sorts of time equiping / re-equiping armor, weapons and testing out various items / combinations / random new potions etc.
One more thing bioware.. issue I would like to see changed, at least in my mind it's an issue. While I liked the semi-linear.. if not linear... fight sequences it would be nice to see various misculaneous encounters with various areas that could pop up some neat new enemies / equipment randomly from game to game. Ala Baulders Gate. What would be wrong continuing at the end just wondering around to raise your level / fight some misc darkspawn.. bears.. revanants.. bloodmages... even with no story? Finding a random helm you have been desperatley looking for would make it that much more interesting, especially if not everyone can get them unless doing so.
I seem to miss those misc wow moments where there is somthing random and misculaneous. (Example... Level 30 rangers that kick your butt)
