To much Christmas Happy Holiday comments in a thread about MP Operations schedule during the holiday break that EA/BioWare is taking. Just start a thread to wish them your “Happy Holiday’s!” comments.

Anyways, as of this posting, neither of my X-Box accounts have been awarded the 3 kits to unlock the Drell Assassin, Batarian Slasher, and Volus Protector. I can see we have the Arsenal and Reserves packs added and all the hazard maps are up, so is there a problem with getting the characters as advertised?

As for the all hazard maps being unlocked to use at once, big deal. Those should be unlocked all the time anyways instead of the 2 a week thing and we already knew we were getting the Arsenal and Reserves packs for some time now.

Sorry, I’m a bit Grinchy, I just don’t get all to excited over this when its not apparently working or clear when we are supposed or how to get them. Are they freebies or do we still have open 50 Premium Spectre Packs to get a chance at getting one?

I wonder if 343 Studios will shut down the Halo 4 daily and weekly challenges for this time period? At least I’ll get my challenge “fix” from them even if the points I get aren’t really worth doing most of them.

My kits had not unlocked as of this morning either. Last night, I bought a reserve pack. I did not get a single character card, let alone a new one. I thank you for what you have given us, but needless to say, I am eager for a new character. I haven't unlocked one since around the time of the Earth DLC that was 30+ SPs and PSPs (and one Reserves Pack) ago.

Also, has anyone figured out if there's any real difference between the different packs? I'm spacing on the names right now. For those that don't know, they cost the same as the Premium packs. The description leaves out the possibility of Ultra-Rares, but I figure that's an oversight.

You buy packs to get the new characters like always. I got the Drell Assassin in a reserves pack. Tac Cloak + Recon mine is pretty awesome.

I'm hoping we get a new free DLC in the new year.
