These new packs are pretty awesome. So far I got a decent amount of ultra-rares, and I like the choice between weapons or character cards, especially since I don't even have a Vorcha unlocked
Oddly, the first Arsenal pack I opened unlocked the BattleField3 Soldier for me.

However, any clue if these packs are temporary or here to stay forever?

So...the kits aren't unlocked, I don't even f***ing understand this company, I got all excited thinking we'd been given actual gifts, but no, just more "buy packs" BS.

spent 4 mill on the new packs. not a single new character(30 reserves, 10 arsenal)

When are they available? I keep playing and checking but I don't see any "unlocked" kits for me.

It stated:

• 3 Kits Unlocked (Drell Assassin, Batarian Slasher, and Volus Protector)
• All Hazard Maps Available

I don't have any of that.

Actually for me and most people, they are available.

Have you downloaded all of the MP DLCs?
What about an update?

I have none of these on my PS3, Xbox accounts. My mothers accounts on PS3 and Xbox do not have them either. My friend does not have them on her PS3 or Xbox accounts either.

That's 6 different accounts, Zero stuff available that is mentioned for holiday gift.

Did you mean you cant see them in your character select screen blacked out with a lock icon? On my xbox I can see them fine and unlocked the volus protector tonight.

The characters aren't available until you unlock them.

But you should see them greyed out/locked in the character selection menu.

Bioware stated they were "unlocking" them for us as a gift. This is what their post stated,

What they meant by unlock was Bioware released the kits into the store system. You still have to obtain them with packs.

Just reflect a bit and think about what Bioware gave you in total...4-5 maps of FREE DLC.....at the end of the day you can still unlock these characters through credits....which is basically still gettin' this stuff for free...stop complaining.....

my original post was looking to see what was wrong and why I haven't received my christmas holiday gift. since you seem to be hating, I paid for 2 collectors editions, 2 regular editions of Mass Effect 3 alone, not including all my other versions of previous games. I don't have to reflect because I've earned my free stuff from almost a decade of being their fan. My issue is being told I'm being given something then the system having an issue and not delivering.

When the last DLC for MP came out, it came with around 16 new characters. However, in order to extend the life of the MP, they locked them from the store and have been releasing them one a week. This was suppose to go through January, but since they took a vacation they unlocked the last 3 all at once for Christmas.

They didn't say you were getting them for free, just that they were unlocked. There is no issue with the system, you simply misunderstood. No one has received these characters for free.

Me too. I must've bought a dozen arsenal packs. Not one weapon upgrade. I have had one UR upgrade from a PSP since the new packs. The arsenal packs give me character upgrades and ammo.
