I'm curious about the new pack that unlocks weapons. Will it have an increased UR chance? Or will I just get a ton of weapon amps instead?

I want to know the same about the increased UR drop, did anyone get URs out of those packs?

Sabotage! FQI wasn't bothered by cooldown, but at least it will now be useful on the turian sabuteur.

Wow wtf did they do to the Acolyte? Man just when I got used to the no charge up. Also that Sabotage nerf/buff sucks. Should've just left the damage the way it was. Sabotage sucks.

At least we got 3 characters, all the hazard maps and some new store packs though. Thanks BW, Happy Holidays!

Got an arsenal pack a little bit ago. Not impressed. I do need weapons more than characters, but just got one rare upgrade - GPSMG III :/ - and one gear upgrade (dont remember which). Didn't even pay attention to consumables received. Back to PSPs and SPs me thinks.

Oh, the arsenal pack is the best Xmas present ever. Finally might unlock that elusive scorpion.

I very much doubt that either Arsenal or Reserve packs have a higher ultra-rare weapon drop rate. I guess that it is exactly the same as for PSPs.

I got one ultra-rare weapon today, from a Reserve pack.

Sabotage buff, and a acolyte nerf.... Great......

In the next balance update can you please buff the acolyte back to its former damage?

Acolyte buff, you mean. Higher rate of fire, higher damage. They nerfed it twice, and they just undid the nerfs.

The Sabotage buff is... questionable? I mean, if we compare it to Energy Drain, it's nowhere near as good. Deals about the same damage, depending on how you spec passives, has a similar max radius, but Sabotage has 80% the rate of fire, and against Geth, it deals no damage, instead acting like a 5-second stun, while Energy Drain returns shields and can add damage reduction against all synthetics or anything with shields/barriers.

So the buff is appreciated, but the nerf is not. It's slightly better now, but it's still a bad skill. The Marksman certainly has no reason to use it, and since Sentry Turret and Homing Grenades don't benefit from the 50% tech vulnerability, I don't see much use for it on the Saboteur.

Tis a great day.

Thank you guys for making this one of the best MPs out there instead of just half assing it.

Grateful for the refinements in the pack system. For me, the fun of ME3 multiplayer has more to do with trying out new kits than with leveling up guns. The latter is more of a payoff.

Not actually happy about sabotage, since it's a straight up FQI nerf. Hardly the end of the world, but ech.

I can buy weapon-focused upgrade packs now?

There are no words for how happy this has made me, Bioware.

sabotage damage nerf is a little bewildering since it barely does any damage to begin with. but I think it's cooldown buff is more worth it as a utility skill and a double stagger. very nice.

hohohohoho, I'm pretty sure in Bioware are stupid. They nerfed the Acolyte and now is back to normal??? hahahaha. Maybe the next month they put the Acolyte again with authomatic shoot without charging. Oh, welcome back glitchers, you have the Acolyte ready again. Good point Bioware ¬¬

Revert the Acolyte back so Vanguards can have all the advantages again. God forbid other classes have a weapon that gives them a one up on the field. BW has nerfed almost every class except Vanguard in one way or another to the point where a power isn't worth having.

Nah, it is a buff for the shooty classes.  A nerf for the biotic casters the acolyte was intended to help.  Sadly the weapon is now crap for biotic casters.  Sure, the shooty classes are sturdy enough to stand in the open and charge it but the squishy casters can't do the same. :(

Yeah, it is a great change for the Vangods.

And the female quarian infiltrator got nerfed yet again.  Amazing.  :crying:

So the acolyte is now complete crap for casters but an ok side arm for shooties who can melt bosses in 3 seconds anyways.  Gotcha. :crying:

Quite opposite actually...

You can lob an acolyte and a cyro blast simultaneously now.  Or an acolyte and singularity...  On the fury you can fire it while running into AF/Throw combo without stopping like a '****** to fire it...  Or charge it then cloak and stay cloaked, fire it and stay cloaked - shadow strike 1-2 plat phantom w/ ease.... Charge it then biotic charge to autoshoot for a 1-2 punch.  Fire and quick switch to primary weapon...  higher rof etc... It went back to the absolutely amazing gun it was and not the pos it was nerfed to.

Sadly squishies don't have the damage reduction and thousands of health/barriers that Krogods have and can't afford to stand in the open to charge it.  The only classes it is better for with a charge are vanguards and infiltrators. It sucks for squishy casters.

Sadly Bioware forgot they made the gun to help biotics, for whom the gun is now worthless.

This is pretty important. You cannot charge the Acolyte while taking cover. That is the problem I had with it before. With the charge gone, you could take cover, pop and shoot, drop back in cover. That cannot be done anymore. You have to be standing to charge, and that kinda blows when you have low cover. It may be great news for Vanguards to abuse and a few others, but it just isn't for me.

If you could just charge the gun while in cover, I'd be happy.

It was Vanguards who mostly complained about the no charge Acolyte.  Now their happs with the Xmass present.

WHAT THE HELL? First the Acolyte sucked because of the charge, then when the charge is removed, it became one of the most useable weapons. Now it gets nerfed back? My Vorchas are practically dulled out. Glad there is other classes to play if Bioware can stop nerfing the good stuff and nerf the frickin Geth's stunlock.

The Geth's Stunlock is the only reason I won't play against the Geth. The Stunlock is the cheapest move of ALL the factions.
