Simple question, will you still be using the Acolyte now? Or has it been ruined for you?
I just (re)tried it out and it won't affect my builds/use of it much.
Will you still be using the Acolyte post-reversion?

Yes! I've been waiting for the charge mechanic to come back.

I stopped using it ages ago. I might start again to get used to the charging.

EDIT: Oh. Probably.

Maybe. I am way too lazy to charge it. I liked shield stripping at will.

Nah.
I never used it anyway.

No, they ruined it. D:

Probably, though I only used it on two characters before the reversion anyway.

Heck yes! I'm glad they brought back the charge. I got used to the charge of the acolyte before they got rid of it.

Once I relearn the charge mechanic I'll use it on the limited characters I used it on.

Only used it for Phantoms. Guess its back to the heavier alternative the Scorpion.

I dislike charge weapons in general, so, prob won't use it anymore.

Yeah. Its far too useful to give up. On annoying kits I'm only using to chase challenges, anyway.

Yep, was too good even with a charge mechanic. Still going to be using it.

Yes. Still too useful and damaging with zero weight to completely ignore due to an annoying mechanic. But some of my classes that rely heavily on immediate cqc staggers will be going back to the falcon or scorpion.

No, the charge up is horrible. At least they could've done the same as the arc pistol, charge up to deal max damage or no charge to deal normal damage.

I liked it better with the charge. It made how unbearably slow it shoots feel like there was a point. Will hae to get used to the whole "pops me out of cover" thing again though.

Yes, it's still too useful to pass up. Even with the charge, I was using it heavily, if it comes back, I'll still use it. Granted it'll take some time before I get used to the charge mechanic again but I'll get back into the swing of it in no time.

Lol no. It was utter rubbish with the charge mechanic. A marauder/phantom/rocket trooper can kill you during that charge up. Stagger needs to happen NOW, not 1.5s from now. This is a total destruction of the weapon, and by extension the adept class.

Nah, never really liked it at all. It was boring for me to use. Once I completed the challenge points for it, I put it back on the shelf to collect dust.

Yes. Mostly for Singularity, the Female Quarian Engineer, and general Adept shenanigans.
I celebrate this decision.

My main usage of this weapon was adding Incendiaries and following up with Biotic Charge.
I'll play around with the mechanic (never had the Acolyte before it lost charge mechanic). Whatever class it still works for, great. Others, I'll find an alternative.

It hardly destroys Adepts classes. If anything it might be a nerf to the flamer classes. I honestly think the Geth Trooper and both Vorcha will feel the hit the most.
