She wants to continue the relationship, but since she's not putting out as much, we will probably break up tonight. Image IPB

Hell yes! It's even better now, now that I can charge, TC and then fire without breaking cloak. Best thing for a Huntress, since her TC doesn't give weapon damage bonuses anyways!

Yep, instead of actually fixing the MISSILE GLITCH, which is the reason why they removed the charge mechanic anyway, they just revert the Acolyte back to what it was instead. Bioware logic.

I'll go back to the Scorpion. I understand why some players liked the old style better, but I hate charge weapons in general.

Of course. I used it often before the change and I'll still use it with the charge (Acolyte hipster here). I'm tired of the game being altered due to cheaters.

And since the charge mechanic is coming back, I imagine the reload, switch weapon animation will be a tad faster..(?)

Lol no. It was utter rubbish with the charge mechanic. A marauder/phantom/rocket trooper can kill you during that charge up. Stagger needs to happen NOW, not 1.5s from now. This is a total destruction of the weapon, and by extension the adept class.

It hardly destroys Adepts classes. If anything it might be a nerf to the flamer classes. I honestly think the Geth Trooper and both Vorcha will feel the hit the most.

True. The statment was hyperbole. But it is a significant blow to classes that relied on it to strip shields for powers to kick in. And such a blow was hardly required, since heavy weapon classes were dominant even before this nerf. So; not "destruction" but maybe more "fading even further into obscurity".

Of course, I've always liked it since before the removal of the charge. I'm actually sort of glad they changed it back. If anything, this just hurts people who pair it with the Flamer. :D

Aww boo hoo, now you have to learn how to use it. Hint: Once you do its actually better ;)

Best balance change to date.

THANK YOU CHARGE ACOLYTE! My N7 shadow, FQE, Fury (and other adepts) have returned to their former glory! (and once you learn the charge/run + release/multi shot + power you'll understand why)

You know what, I never really got the hang of it without the charge mechanic, so I won't start using it now.

I have been using the acolyte since it had the charge removed, couldn't use it before that. Tried it now that it is back and no, I won't be using it again. I guess it's time to go back to scorpion or talon.
Bye acolyte, it was good to use you.

Never liked the gun, never will. Now the reason I hated it is back, not touching it for sure.

Simple question, will you still be using the Acolyte now? Or has it been ruined for you?

I just (re)tried it out and it won't affect my builds/use of it much.

Got to test it but likely hell to the yeah, it is more OPed when you can charge it and cast it at the same time as powers.

How sad, id prefer it charge less, dont really like any of the charge weapons. I will try to use it, but if i find it too hard it will ruin alot of fun builds for me.

I rarely used it before and only useed it an asari adepts as a back-up weapon when the charge was removed. Since carrying it hardly affects the cooldowns I'll probably still take it but I feel there will be less situations where I will actually draw it and start shooting. I was planning on starting to use it with a huntress specced for maximum barrier/armour damage and using it just against shields but the whole charge up thing and how it can interact with cloak seems cheap.
