I meen not nessesarely made anew, but been made possibly to run on a modern (XP,Vista or 7) operating system... because they are SO good.
I would like to se David Brabens Elite written in conjunction with Ian Bell . It stands (stood) out. Also a sequel to Elite named Frontier. Good game. There was also a 3. game, Firsth Encounter. What shamed that game was the BUGs on top of bugs.
There have been simular later games, but they did not top thouse older games, just more flashy in the graphical compartment.

Dont mind my spelling ;)

obviously a 3D remake of the Baldurs Gate games would be a dream come true, but other games off the top of my head would be Syndicate/Syndicate Wars, Cannon Fodder (makes me miss the Amiga) and the little recognised classic I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream

TIE Fighter!!!

Unless it already has been reissued for XP/Vista/7 and I haven't noticed yet.

I always preferred XWing to TIE Fighter.

That I can support.   I'll take any game in the series (or, preferably, all) being made available for XP and on.

I am prepared for ridicule when I honestly say The Black Cauldron not because it was good, but because it still haunts me to this day!  I never did find a way into that damned castle.  Image IPB  Damn you, Taran, and your pathetic lack of upper body strength, which prohibits you from scaling shear rock walls!

MDK (the first one).

It's like a comic book come to life, awesome art direction.

The Magic Candle series. Especially the second one.

Dungeon Keeper. I only played the second one, but it was pure genius. By the time I got the first, I no longer had a computer old enough to run it... One day I'll get around to sorting it out.

Wing Commander. Not (perhaps) as good gameplay-wise as the X-Wing/Tie Fighter games, but I greatly preferred the stories.

A properly remade Ultima VIII / IX.that actually feel like parts of the series would be my ultimate wish though.

Hmmm... All properties now owned by EA... Curses. Fine. One more:

A traditional Leisure Suit Larry game. Great humour throughout the series, though with less frustrating hair-pulling than many adventure games.

Sacrifice and MDK are already available for Vista.  I wouldn't recommend MDK though, I played it recently for the first time and by today's standards it's an awful game.

And I guess that applies to most old games. I'd like to see Total Annihilation and I-war 1 + 2. As nobody's done much in those styles they shouldn't feel too dated.

You point and shoot.
The only evolution has been that you now point and shoot from behind a wall.
With macho men, in bland enviroments.

King's Field, Vampire the Masquerade, Sacrifice, Black and White, Chrono Trigger, Quake(I want a fantasy/futuristic Quake III style shooter, no Strogg), Messiah, Star Control, Xenogears.
