The question is, who could be badass enough to use flare in MP? Asari soldier?

I've heard rumors that another unit was supposed to be released already but they had issues with it. No idea if that is true or not?

Correct, the Reaper adjudant, used in Omega.

Awesome, makes sense. Will we get Collector Assassins too? They must've created the CSR for a reason, the Collectors are missing a sniper, and don't have many units either.

Also, can you tell us why we're short a Sentinel and a Vanguard?

If I were to hazard a guess, I would say that we're getting an extra Sentinel and Vanguard this time around.

Due to fan demand, and the name being "Reckoning", I would guess the slate including at least two Salarians, humans in Reckoning armor, female Turians, and maybe an Ex Cerberus Engineer (seeing as it is a well-requested kit). We are likely to see Biotic Protector and perhaps Flare as powers, along with a slight chance of Slam, Dominate, Defense Drone and Defense Matrix appearing.

Unless, of course, they feel like throwing us a curveball with some Hanar and Elcor. That would also be quite welcome.

I thought we have been told multiple times that Slam will not be in multiplayer. Something about it being problematic to implement?

Or Krogan women. Which you should have mentioned right there alongside the Turians, and (sincerely) either of them after Salarians but before more humans.

Why is it relevant that there be Krogan women? why not just new Krogan?

Knowing how krogan culture treats their women, I hadn't given the idea much thought. Especially with the Genophage lifted and all.

I suppose it would be interesting, though.

It would mean a lot on bioware's part to give a small spotlight to a female character that doesn't wear vacuum-sealed latex or a chestplate with boobs carved on it for a change (*notable exception goes to the female human soldier, of course).

They are just different. They are big and strong, but they are also female. On a personal level, I think that's really cool, and it makes me sad that they would sweep an entire race's women under the rug with the excuse of "they are too busy having babies, every single one of them".

I don't know this for certain Stardusk, but I think Nissun is inlcuding the Asari in the "vacuum sealed latex or a chestplate with boobs carved on it" category.

The only females with riduclously forming armour are the Asaris.

Female novaguard uses the same model.  Also, N7 Demolisher rocks fatigues.

Did you read the part about wearing vacuum sealed latex? Because that's freaking important.

True, I forgot to mention the Demolisher, and I think the novaguard should be implied, since they are the same model. The Demolisher wears a sensible uniform, which is something really great.

You have never noticed the amount of detail that went into Quarian female's butts? Because it's pretty damn hard to miss.

The Fury's butt is also clearly visible. So is the Shadow's. The default human female armors are not that bad in that regard, actually, but you still got boobplates.

Furies and Quarians wear air-tight suits. For the record, it's the same on the Male Quarians. The only female human's armour that is bad with boobplates is the engineer/infiltrator.

- All-female race
- That looks exactly like "hot" human women
- Are all bisexual
- Are very comfortable with their sexuality

They are the most shameless piece of fanservice ever created, and that is a fact that cannot be denied. They may be powerful, they may be wise and advanced: but first and foremost, they are sexually attractive for male players to fantasize about.

Samara is a clear example of that mentality when it comes down to creating female characters. Sure, why can't a Samurai alien wear a comically largue cleavage? But then again, why couldn't she... not?

What else do you expect? Most players are still men. It's called marketing. Deal with it.

Only butt that really bothers me is Miranda's in SP. And it doesn't so much bother me as it just makes me shake my head. Especially that one scene in her office in ME2 where all I wanted to do was go talk to her, and suddenly 3/4 of my entire screen gets filled with her giant latex-covered butt while she leans forward provactively against the back of a chair or table or something. I actually had tears coming out of my eyes laughing so hard at that. It was ridiculous. I mean, Holy Christ, that was beyond ridiculous.

If I have played the entire Mass Effect trilogy while consciously ignoring that fact, I would say I already deal with it well enough. The games have a lot of other things that compensate it for me. Turians, for example. All the ones we've seen in the games have been male, and I find them attractive. But the cold truth is that they were not designed for this. I mean, where are the turian strip clubs? Why haven't we seen turian men in relationships with each other? It's a rethoric question, don't answer that.

But seriously, would it be that much to ask for one, just one multiplayer character that is female and wasn't designed with the male audience in mind? Only one? Whose model already exists?

I find the justicar's assless chaps rather, unsettling. I wonder if that's because she's in her matriarch years and her body is starting to sag.
