Guys, look what i found! 
Citadel DLC details:
Details: Upcoming Downloadable Content for Xbox, PlayStation, PC and Wii U. Will contain all new Single Player mission for Commander Shepard in the Mass Effect universe.
Content: An all new hub in the Citadel will be unlocked and is named the Silver Sun Strip, which contains several brand new locations for exploration. New characters, weapons and brand new enemy will be released as well.
Story: A brand new mission involving an investigation into the heart of all galactic civilization...the Citadel. New details were uncovered on a sinister plot which could possibly put everything in terrible danger. It is up to Commander Shepard along with C-Sec officer Jordan Noles and several of C-Sec's finest to uncover the plot and put an end to it before it is too late. However in the end there are just some secrets that are best not revealed.
Misc: Content will coincide with new mode unlocked in upcoming Multiplayer Expansion. Details will be released soon.Release Date Updated: Early March

As sceptical as I am due to it not coming from the account that has made predictions before, the specific mention  of the Wii U, and the horrid grammar in general, I am a little exictied that the Wii U was not left out.

This sounds legit because it makes sense that the new co-op story missions for MP would be related to the citadel DLC since they'll probably be released at the same time (March 5th)

What I most of all want to read into this is that the MP DLC will be released first, but the new co-op mode included in that DLC won't be unlocked until the SP DLC arrives.

Yes, I am desperate and clinging to any imaginary sign of MP DLC being released this month.

at this point, i just assume that all the dlc pics/leaks/tease/speculation is a joke and someone somewhere is having a good time laughing at everyone who buys into any of it...

i think that was because BioWare were a long way from being ready and wanted to calm the forum. Some hope - I am looking for today's 'when is the dlc out' thread.

I wrote that wrong.
That "I want to play the game but having no new characters is boring." should have been with the first sentence.
I know that I don't have a majority of the classes, but right now there's nothing making me want to play. Having a few new maps would motivate me to play to earn credits to unlock the classes I want.

Right now I have to play around 3 Silver matches to get a PSP/Reserves Pack, and it doesn't seem fun to me. I might start playing when the DLC comes out.

Your doing it wrong, do NOT buy PSP's as you cannot afford them and wasting your credits. Also don't buy the 2 new 99k packs either.
Buy Spectre packs instead, however if you still haven't maxed your uncommon weapons/gear items, then simply buy veteran packs ONLY. You wil unlock characters along the way, build up your consumables and crucially they will be affordable.
Also the new dlc will make it even harder for you as the pool will become bigger with more characters/weapons gear items etc.
Its a shame there is no advice for people like yourself unless you ask.
