At this point, what kind of new DLC would you pay for?

In order of what I want:

1. A few missions with Miranda being a squadmate.
2. Revamped Earth mission.
3. More content on indoctrination.

I know this may seem silly at this point, but some more ending DLC would be wonderful.

A non-combat, LI DLC might be something many people want as well (not pervy though).

Any story related DLC that does not change che choices or invalidate the current endings, I will buy.

I would prefer they spent their limited  time and resources devoted to DLC prior to full production of the next game in other areas outside of the ending and even if had time and resources to do ending DLC plus any non-ending DLC I want, I would still be against altering the balance of current endings.

Wow. I fully agree! I'm just amazed anyone else on BSN said don't change the endings.

This. Endings are great as they are now.

There is that persistent rumor of a 'Citadel' DLC. Some people will doubtless hope for new ending/reunion stuff but all the other SPDLC has been set during the story. I remember one of the devs talking about a mission involving the Keepers' which was dropped from ME2 which they were getting a chance to use in ME3. Maybe I missed that, or maybe it's on it's way.

The other thing which to me remains unresolved (unless I missed something) is to do with Haestrom & the deterioration of its sun. It's to do with dark energy, it's not a natural phenomena, it's not caused by the Geth, and it's been going on for hundreds of years. That could be worth looking into.

Doesn't matter. I use MEHEM so any DLC is good in my book.

Now be nice Bioware and say "thank you" to your mod-com. ^_^

Let's make this perfectly clear: the ending as it stands with the EC is merely mediocre....I cannot possibly understate the absolute importance of a brilliantly done LI and party reunion after the breath scene.

Now IT is a great theory and all but it simply scraps the present ending which would mean a new ending would be needed and there's a million ways to screw that one up. The EC is a solid base but not complete and not good enough by itself. I simply can't believe they thought the EC would be enough of an ending by itself.

but don't you know? adding context changes the ending according to Tuly....so Bioware will not do it

They will if the demand is there.....which it certainly is. They spennt the entire time from the moment ME1 was released until ME2 was released making perfectly clear cut and and deffinitive statements that Tali was never intended to be a love interest and that they would never do it. The bottom line is this: they need all the goodwill they can get to try and repair their relationship with the fans after the pre-release blatant lies and the disaster that the original ending was and the reality is that most players that care about the story and characters would certainly welcome a reunion with the party and LI.

I was hoping for more Hub worlds in ME3, stands to reason that during war times the major council races would have emergency bunkers or something set up on their Homeworlds or larger colonies.

So any DLC that offers another Hub World or something other than simply another side mission that doesn't really affect the main story would be great

Plenty of time has passed for them to hopefully have gotten over their hurt behinds and to fully comprehend where it all went wrong....if they don't they'll be the ones who will suffer in the end because what happened with ME3 was not something desirable for anyone involved(players and devs alike) and one of the major strengths of BioWare was its reputation.....a reputation that has been severely damaged if not destroyed not just by the ending scandal but by the pre-release blatant lies as well....not to mention undelivered preorder bonuses(AT-12 not available for consoles) and the day one DLC mess and so on.

Their future may as well be riding on their ability to repair the relationship with the fans though I suppose we'll find out after all the ME3 DLC is out and done and ME4 is put up for sale.

according to the latest GI interview

1: everyone at Bioware played through the ending before the game shipped and NO ONE thought it would be received badly

2: They are happy with it after the EC

The recent DLC has been meh. So I thought I'd ask:

What DLC would you still be willing to pay for?

An "Ending Theory" DLC?

Hub world?

More general story content? Post or pre-ending?

Something else?

I haven't bought any yet and I wont till they fix the damn ending or add an ending DLC to fix it! Nope I didn't just say I was going to hold my wallet and not follow through with it. I actually followed through! I canceled my SWTOR account and kept it canceled I never went back, I haven't bought a single DLC for Mass Effect.

I did buy Jade Empire and Dragon Age Origins at 75% off lol doubt they got much profit from that :o those games have had good reviews I figured them worthy of trying them. The rest? Meh I don't care any more. Biowares early RPGs where the best, after that when EA took over the ball has been dropped big time.

Something that disconnects the trilogy completely from the next game would be nice.

I'd love the Reunion DLC but it's possible with just one of the endings. It would be my favourite DLC if they could work out a way to make it work with all the endings without twisting the story further. And yeah, a lot of people want the endings to be changed, but it isn't going to happen.

Crucible DLC
Battle on Surk'esh
Battle on Palavan

Loyalty missions: I don't want them. We already won the loyalty of all squad members bar James in ME 2, if they don't follow me now after all the crap we went through, then I was very wrong about the friends I keep. As for Kaidan/Ashley, maybe a loyalty mission for them, but then again, if my current actions don't show him/her that my heart is in the right place, then they can go onto another ship. As to James, I don't care about him.

Additional squad mates like Miranda, Jack and Kasumi: yes I'd love that. Don't care that much about Zaeed personally. Grunt or Wrex too? Mordin... well we know what happens to him :(

Sounds legit....

Nah I'm kidding.....sounds as believable as a sleigh pulled by raindeer carying and delivering billions of gifts in one night. Who are they kidding....any idiot could tell that ending would be a failure. Hell just replay their pre-release interviews and everything they said the ending would not be is exactly what it was....that means they knew EXACTLY how bad the ending sucked and were already in damage control mode before the game released....we all know how well that turned out.

In all seriousness....that's business talk...admitting to mistakes is bad for EA's stock shares because the investors who would never touch a game with a ten foot pole need to reasured that everything is ok and under control. Ultimately it'll be the sales numbers of their future games that will speak louder than any BS they can throw at the media.

To claim that everyone at -bioware- played through would be false anyhow right there.

My partner works for a gaming company. Not even all those who program the games play through them, only the parts they *have* to play to test that code is working.
No doubt there are some Mass Effect fans within the company but I highly doubt everyone who works there is one or has played the game right through.

Odd that they said 'some people' would be angered by the ending, given that no one thought it would be received badly.
